I am over 60. Female. Put something on my lips all the time to keep them looking good. I use Avene eye makeup remover....milk cleanser....toner for dry skin...& moisture serum. Don;t always use the serum. Now I've added the lip balm. Works pretty well. I will try the lip cream but I do like the balm. This is a simple line of skin care, not hard on the skin. From France.

I have been using this product regularly for about 2 years. Why? It works very well for me. My lips are easily chapped so I make frequent applications. I love the feel of Avene Lip Balm it is slick at first and then soaks in. My only complaint comes because I usually carry it in my pocket and body heat softens the stick which then requires gentle application to avoid damaging the product.

This product used to be a diamond in the rough. Now it's just like so many other lip balms; fine but not amazing. WHY change something that was a nearly perfect 5 star rating (literally, it was highly rated on this app)!? So bummed. Now I have to go searching around through trial and error again...

I absolutely love this unscented, occlusive, non-greasy lip balm. It's slightly less slippy than others so it really coats the lips with a firm layer of protection but feels lightweight and stays put. It's a bit more of a beeswaxy shea butter texture as compared to more oily bases like coconut oil. Great as a lip primer. The only thing I don't care for is the angled shape. I appreciate the idea but find the tip sometimes smushes into the cap if I don't roll it down completely. Not a big deal as the formula is perfection as far as what I'm looking for in an every day lip balm.
I absolutely love this lip balm. It had a nice cool moisturizing feeling on the lips and I can tell that it's nourishing. My lips feel nice and soft after applying. Perfect for those colder days when your lips are a bit more dry and you need something on the go.
I love how creamy this product is so it spreads easily on the lips. If it's cold, the product hardens and it becomes more difficult to apply, but still more easily than a lot of comparable lip balms. This product makes my lips very soft and minimizes fine lines. I like how it does not have any pumping effect, I don't care for this whole lip plumping nonsense.
I don't have any major complaints about this balm itself (especially since I have only used it twice so far) but this simply isn't what I thought I was buying. I went into my local ulta and thought that I had miraculously gotten my hands on the original cold cream balm after finding this, but realized after I left the store that it was not the same product. Avene still sells their original cold cream balm, but it is always sold out and looks very similar to this one. There is nothing terribly wrong with this formula, it is just different from the original. There is the added benefit of caprylic/capric triglyceride, but there is no squalane in this formula like the original. This will work fine for now, but make sure to take a closer look when buying your cold cream ... Avene used to make the BEST lip balm. I was surprised when I got my reorder that it is totally different now. Looks different and feels different. It's not as moisturizing and it feels greasy and goes on weird. I'm not sure why Avene would change something that was perfect? I won't buy this again unless they bring the old formula back.
Works fine as a lip balm. The problem is I dropped it and even with the stick inside the tube it broke. I have managed to salvage some of it in a small jar and I'm using it, it seems to moisturise quite well but it does seem to sit on top of your lips rather then soak in. Also surprised it broke as I've dropped others and they were more robust and survived. Unsure if I will repurchase.
i loved this! will repurchase eventually haha. one of the better lip balms i've tried for sure. was visiting my dad and let him borrow it, he's a bit of a lip balm fanatic (wonder where i got my habit 🤔) and ended up leaving without it. not upset at all, we've traded a few tubes throughout the years. he was raving about how much he liked it and i have to agree, very healing and doesn't leave my lips feeling dry after it's worn off. noticed great results with consistent use!
