Started suffering from really sore lips, for some reason they were getting really dry and around the edges they were really sore, when I ate anything hot (chilli hot), spicy, citrusy they would sting for a good 20 secs or so. I now apply this cream whenever I go out in the cold and whenever I’m going to wear a mask. A small amount goes a long way and lasts for ages. Love it!!

I have tried a lot of different products previously, nothing compares to this Lip Cream by Avene. I often have allergic reactions to lip care, lip gloss or lipstick products by various brands, including "Laniege Lip Sleeping Mask" or "Nivea Lip Balm". I have no reactions using this product at all. Unlike other lip care products which leave my lips dry, then the skin peels even more. More frequent applications make the situation worse. Luckily this lip cream is very moisturising. It works better than NUXE Rêve de Miel Lip Balm in my opinion because it is more effective.

Cicalfate Lips Restorative Lip Cream is very hydrating and soothing. I prefer to use it as an overnight lip treatment and wake up in the morning with smooth, soft lips. Before I started using it my lips were cracked and peeling. It made a big difference in the condition of my lips from the first night's usage. During the day I use Avene Cold Cream Nourishing Lip Balm. They are both without any noticeable taste or scent.

I was devastated when my favorite daytime lip saver lotion was discontinued. I did not want an ointment/jelly texture as those seem to sit on top of the lip. When I finally discovered this product, I had minor hopes. What a great find!! This absorbs nicely and leaves my lips feeling conditioned & not goopy. I do not agree with it leaving a white film - maybe if you over apply. A little goes a long way, just a little application to the bottom lip, press/rub lips together, and you are good to go. I bought two more tubes when they were recently on sale.
I have psoriasis, and at times get patches of it which appear on my face and at the corners of my mouth. I must be extremely careful not to use my regular Rx cream on or near my face not only because is too harsh for the delicate tissue and also as it is a steroid cream it results in the thinning of the skin.Cicalfate Restorative Lip Cream is the only non-prescription product I have found that heals the dry scaled spots on my lips but leaves them feeling soft, nourished and and well hydrated. I use it nightly before bed and also during the day over my SPF 30 Lip Balm. :)

Feels lovely on the lips and leaves them feeling very moisturised/nourished. It lasts quite a while on the lips too. The only downside is that it can leave a white film on the inside of my lips, which I need to remove, but that I easily managed and worth it for the beneficial effects. I often use this while applying my skincare in the morning and then, when I’ve done my make up and am ready to leave, I apply my lipstick, on top of my smooth and hydrated lips, thanks to this!
I have extremely dry lips and was looking for a replacement for Avene's Cold Cream balm (old formula). This product had so many positive reviews that I though it would be worth a try.The balm itself has a nice, creamy formula, but it leave a white cast when applied in a thicker layer. It also does not really moisturize as much as I need, and wears off pretty quickly.If your lips are a "normal" amount of dry then this product is fine, but if you have severely chapped lips that crack and bleed, then this does nothing unfortunately.
My skin was so dehydrared my face was full of long, deep wrinkles. I looked 10 years older than a few months before. On a dermatologist’s advice, I applied Cicafalte on top of a Panthenol serum twice a day: vast improvement, after two days my skin was plumped and smooth. After two weeks, my skin looks elastic, healthy and no more deep wrinkles. Love this cream. I will continue to use Cicafalte at night in winter from now on. It is a thicker cream, especially on top of a hyaluronic acid serum, so in my morning routine I needed to wait a while for it to be absorb before applying sunscreen or/and make up. But it is worth the trouble.
This is a thin somewhat runny formula. It is moisturizing, but the very visible white film it leaves behind is what put me off. I was so excited to receive this but horrified when I saw that the milk white product does not dissipate. I thought it would sink into my lips and disappear, but nope, it sits on the lips. It is unsightly so I cannot use this during the day, I can only use it at night right before bed. It gets two stars because it is moisturizing.
