I have the first generation City Go carseat from Baby jogger and recently purchased the 2020 model of the City Mini GT2 Double stroller for our second child on the way as our first is still under two. I was skeptical after reading the other reviews and finding out these are sold out everywhere online and in store. However, this came back in stock at Buy Buy Baby and I ordered one right away. The correct adapter arrived & my City Go clicks in perfectly. You do have to remove the canopy on the side you use the adapter - but the carseat already has a canopy attached so I'm not too worried about it. Also, many people complained that the other child's canopy would not work. My wife and I are expecting our first child very soon and we brought the maxi-cosi baby car seat adapter thinking we could connect our car seat to the baby jogger. They connected well to the baby jogger pram and the car seat went straight in BUT you couldn't remove the car seat from the adapter. It took us over 30 minutes to remove the adapters from the car seat and the only way we did that was by turning the car seat upside down and prising the hidden lever.Not practical and defeats the purpose of using them if you have to take the baby out of the car seat to remove the adapters from the car seat. If I could leave a 0 star review I would.

I wish I would have read these reviews before buying the Mini GT2 double stroller… is the adapter for your own carseat ever going to be available? It appears this issue has been going on for months if not years at this point. I’m not sure what to do now as it doesn’t appear that any double strollers are compatible with baby jogger city go infant car seats…

I wouldn’t have purchased this $600 stroller if I would have known that the graco car seat infant adapter wasn’t available. Looks like it hasn’t been available for over 6 months according to the reviews. You shouldn’t promote that you can use the graco infant car seat if you can’t produce the attachment. I guess I will be returning the stroller and figure out another stroller for my infant and toddler. This is ridiculous.
I really do like this stroller. It glides so easily and fits through handicapped doors! I like that I can see both kids at once even with one in a car seat. I like that the car seat adapter is so easy to add so it can be used immediately. It is big, so it’s heavy and takes up most of the trunk in my rav4 but it’s a solid stroller with all the details to make my kids comfortable and happy!
I read a review on here that said this adapter works for the nuna pipa car seat and I took a chance and ordered and it works!!!! Works perfect! Clicks into stroller and carseat clicks in and locks to adapter. No issues at all!!! So so happy as I was told by baby jogger that there was absolutely no adapter for my nuna pipa. SO HAPPY!!!
Second pregnancy, second time around that I won’t be able to use the stroller for my infant. I purchased this double stroller when I was in need last year, only to find out that the car seat adapter was not available. We made due without using my very expensive double stroller, but now round two and I definitely have the need for a double stroller and again, still no adapter available and still stuck with an expensive stroller I cannot use. Very disappointed. This needs to be made known at the time of purchase of the stroller as I would’ve never purchased and now need to consider purchasing another product, while my $600 stroller continues to sit in the garage without use. Very disappointing.
My $600 stroller is now useless because they don’t have the infant attachment available. Time to return stroller and stop dealing with baby jogger. Going to tell all friends and family don’t ever buy baby jogger because of situations like this. Get your head on straight, you sell the attachments for other car seats that aren’t even you’re brand like maxi cost but can’t come up with a solution for your own product with the citi go infant seat, that’s a good selling point lol. Feel sorry for anyone who bought this junk side by side stroller that can walk their brand new baby around the neighborhood.
Well I have baby #2 on the way and have the city go 2 infant car seat already but will need a double stroller. Based on all of these reviews, I’m thinking I should just sell what I have and switch stroller and car seat brands completely. Looks like I’ll be spending $600 + dollars on a double stroller elsewhere since no one can get the proper adapters with baby jogger. A huge disappointment since we have loved our car seat and stroller.

We had our second baby this summer, so naturally we purchased the double because we loved this stroller so much! Unfortunately, we assumed our adapters for the graco car seat would easily transfer from the single to the double, but we were sadly mistaken! I have searched allll over the internet for the adapters and even contacted customer service with no response!!! it wasn’t until i read the reviews on this product that i realized that this item hasn’t been in stock for months!!!
