Apple pie is a good choice for dessert. Be careful not to add too much water and enjoy a thick syrup apple pie with loads of flavour and biscuit crunch on the top. Is yummo. I would definately have this again. When I do it again though I will be taking the contents out of the bag and using a sandwich bag and pressing the air out of it. It took up a lot of room in my pack!

Great for camping/hiking - had a little bit of cream to add after making and it was tasty as.If having dinner as well this packet fed 2 of us for desert and was just perfect amount.
Not bad at all. The apples are a little tough, but that’s okay. I leave this one soaking for longer than the usual suggested 10 minutes or so but still have to chew a little harder. A nice taste, too...quite happy with it.
Bought this and other Backcountry products for my kids and me to try when we go camping, and I can honestly say we loved the apple pie, the consistency amazed me for a freeze dried product, would definitely recommend adding a few packs of apple pie to your food stock
I bought this originally to try on the trail, but camping out got canned in Hotham due to severe weather conditions, so I met up with friends and we shared this after dinner and everyone just wanted more.It was flavoursome and so delicious. I have only ever tried your mains in the dehydrated range of foods, and this is definitely something I would gladly purchase againThank you, Snowys!
This was super tasty and a family favourite on our Overland hike. Added a side of reconstituted "quick custard" (readily available in the supermarket), and it was perfect. Would definitely recommend this. Not sure it would have been as fabulous without the custard though!
Really tasty - I'd probably think of it more as apple crumble than apple pie. After a long hike it was a great comfort food. Very tasty (again) & important to get the water measurement right for the re-hydration. We enjoyed it.
Its hard when reviewing food as we all have our own tastes, so for this one I have given 4 stars, only because I do not like saltanas or raisins, aside from that the only downside was it was extremely tasty and even though I was full I wanted more and wish I had some icecream with it.
