I like the pressed powder form, and the sponge works so well giving me great coverage. I cannot use a brush on my sensitive skin, so the sponge is perfect! This makes me - a longtime customer - feel like testing for this foundation was very haphazard.And don't get me started on the colours, which - as again, lots of reviewers also state - don't match to the old ones and even the recommended comparable shades come up too dark or too orange.There are no stores with bareMinerals staff to advise and the agents available via chat often don't understand the brand as well as the customer.I'm *so* frustrated - bareMinerals has been my go-to brand for foundation since they entered the UK market, but they have really lost control of the quality of their products and the changes are wholly disappointing. I've battled on thinking it's a me problem but I've realised now really this is a product fail. I do not recommend the BarePro powder foundation. At this point I don't recommend bareMinerals at all.

I'm incredibly disappointed and sad - I've worn BareMinerals face makeup for over a decade. It was my favorite: consistent quality, incredible staying power, beautiful coverage and worth every penny. The compact you purchase now is less grams (and costs more money) and the powder doesn't even go on the same, have any depth of coverage or last at all. I was weary at first of using a powder foundation as I can get very dry skin from powders but after reading reviews I thought I’d try it. I went for colour Fair 15 Neutral. Firstly, i highly recommend using a dampened sponge to apply this as it goes on so much smoother! Coverage is excellent, and I mean so so so good! And it lasts! I completely forgot I had it on and almost forgot to take it off before bed because it’s that lightweight and comfortable, doesn’t crack in the slightest. The only only downside is finding the right colour, there’s so many so I would suggest using bare minerals website to find the match with AI first which I didn’t do! I didn’t experience any issues with the product coming to me cracked or completely shattered at all. I also haven’t any experience any issues with this formulation being super fragile either. I do apply it with the sponge applicator, because I like to achieve more fuller coverage that way. However, for those that prefer lightweight coversge, definitely using a brush would be best to go with overall. Also, unless you have perfect or near perfect skin, you will need to apply concealer first and then apply this powder foundation over it. The shade range definitely could and better because the shades run darker than other powder foundations I have tried before. In regards to how well it wears, I typically apply it once during the day and don’t have to do any touchups. However, I don’t use any super emollient products underneath the foundation that would cause it to break down easily, crease and transfer badly. This foundation basically stays put on my face until I remove it at night. I do have dry skin, but I live in a climate that is hot and humid all year round. So, I figured that powder foundation would be a whole lot better to use on my face on a day- to-basis than liquid foundation. Plus, it is much quicker to apply for sure. Now, I do have very sensitive, dry/very, acne & eczema prone skin. This foundation does not make my eczema worse and it also does not make my dry skin worse either. It doesn’t break me out. In regards to it’s smell, it has an earthy smell, almost like I am smelling a hint of dirt to it. It does fade away over time. It is a decent buy overall, I must say.
