I tried the Batiste Overnight Deep Cleanse Dry Shampoo at night as instructed because Im working out a lot now and dont want to be washing my hair and stripping it of its natural oils on a daily basis. Plus, I have Black hair, which isnt always the easiest to manage so I thought this would be a great option to give me a clean feeling in-between washes. However, I think this particular product is geared more towards non-Black hair, which tends to build up oil more quickly and gets weighed down, while Black hair is quite the opposite and needs more oils to not dry out. I've tried some dry shampoos in the past that I didn't quite like so much because they tend to leave a flaky residue in my hair in the long run so I haven't been purchasing them lately. But wow, I must say- this product is way more effective than the other brands that I've tried. Also, this couldn't have come in a better time. A couple weeks back I was in the hospital for a week because I needed an emergency bowel perforation surgery followed by three different types of IV antibiotics to fight the infection coursing through my body. But after just one use of this I was pleasantly surprised to find that my hair no longer looked greasy and matted. After a couple weeks with no shower I wasn't expecting much but this really helped me feel a lot more like myself. I've been feeling pretty gross these days cuz I haven't been able to wash properly but at least this stuff, oily hair is no longer something I have to conserve myself with! Woohoo! Enthusiastically recommend it, does the trick!
