I have to say I don't really love it but I don't hate it either. The top layer part is very waxy that it was hard to melt it to oil, but once you reach the lower part it's ok. The thing I don't really like is it's quite tough to emulsify it. Basically need tons of water to emulsify it and then tons of water to get rid of it. Even then, I need to follow up with foam cleanser right afterwards because it leaves thin white film on my skin. It does have a lil bit of smell. Most cleansers have left my skin feeling stripped, especially when double cleansing, but when I pair this with the green plum cleanser my skin feels clean but not stripped at all! 1st impressions was amazing, 2nd packaging not so much

When I used first packaging I was in love. No fragrance, make up melting as it should, beautifully emulsifying, no oily residue, wasn't breaking me up, great packaging with spatula. No wonder I bought it again and although all above still standing, this time my experience is not so amazing. This time I have to deal with chunks. On the beginning I haven't even noticed. After while of using I noticed white chunks in my sink, which are falling down when I am trying to distribute product on my face. I started squeezing them on my skin, but that ruin the whole experience. It looks like product not melting as it was before (with my first packaging). I will think twice before I will buy again, after first packaging never had this dilemma.

Beauty of Joseon Radiance Cleansing Balm Review

This cleansing balm is a very nice first cleanse after a long day of heavy sunscreen or if I am feeling very oily. I have baby sensitive skin with an oily t-zone.So I rarely wear full face makeup, save for when I go to work, and that's just for a few hours. My go to for daily makeup is mascara, highlighter and often concealer. On makeup days I use this product to double cleanse.Regardless of how often you use it, I've found that it's very gentle and scent less, and a little goes a long way. Great product, great packaging with one minor flaw

Finally a cleansing balm without a twist-off lid! This is so much faster and more convenient and I wish other brands would follow. The one thing I don't like is that the clear plastic layer the scoop is stored on top of goes underneath the part where the lid actually does twist off, so if you want to use the product by simply flipping the lid up, you have to remove the plastic and can't store the scoop inside the jar - unless you don't mind it being inside the jar with the actual balm. Just a minor design flaw, but a pretty annoying one.As for the product itself, it's very good - no fragrance, no irritation, does it's job and is pleasant to use. The best for acne prone skin!

I have acne prone skin and I'm allergic to nut oil, shea butter, and other heavy oils and emollients. Therefore it's pretty hard to find an oil cleanser to properly remove my makeup without irritating my skin and causing a reaction. This is a very lightweight formula, very clean from irritants. Love this for my first cleanse! It has no fragrance as well. The balm has the perfect consistency to use in its original form, it melts easily and smoothly (no texture), and turns into milky emulsion quickly. It washes off without leaving a trace, and there's no sensation of a film residue or skin-stripping after. The only downside to this is that while it doesn't sting my eyes, it cannot remove mascara or waterproof eyeliner well, and it does cloud my eyes.
