No bubble wraps or any plastic wrapping to be found, also super easy to open with just one line of tape (MAJOR PLUS!). Almost every product has a box without a single spill, and all expiring around 2025. Generous with freebies as well, I even tried to swap that Heimish lip gloss with something else because I already have a lot of lip products (lovely shop owner declined my request respectfully no problem 😊) BUT upon trying it I COMPLETELY changed my mind and I can see myself using it almost daily (I mean it smells yummy and looks great on my lips hihi). If you appreciate the science/formulation behind your products, I would encourage you to read the ingredients label as you'll see some awesome ones listed: Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Lactobacillus/Rice Ferment, Bacillus/Soybean Ferment Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, etc. It has an extremely light texture but does seem to provide some moisturization. I have dry skin, but think that all skin types would appreciate the skincare benefits and texture of this product. I used the US-approved chemical sunscreens for 20 years with great success, but suddenly they started to irritate and dry out my face because my skin became more sensitive. Have tried mineral-only or mineral with chemical sunscreen combinations, but my face always ended up extremely dry, itchy, and irritated. So far, BoJ sunscreen filters with the skincare ingredients have been the best solution to get my sunscreen protection but also support my sensitive skin. My skin still gets slightly dry but I put a little more moisturizer over where it feels irritated then put another layer of sunscreen over that. I have mixed BoJ sunscreen with face bronzer drops and it still seems to work. Using BoJ, I have not been sunburned. I can also do multiple layers of sunscreen quickly without it pilling so much. The scent is mostly unfragranced, but due to the high rice ferment concentrate, it does have a seafood store or steamed/cooked rice smell, but that only lasts for five seconds on application. There is no scent afterwards. This sunscreen does not claim water or sweat resistance, but I have exercised and sweated profusely with this sunscreen on my face, and my skin still did not get sunburned during my usual outdoor routine. I did not have any hyperpigmentation or burning after sun exposure (but I still wear hats when the sun exposure is prolonged or more severe as per my usual routine). I don't know how it performs under foundation because I don't use foundation. I find that I can remove the sunscreen with two cleanses with an oil-free gentle hydrating cleanser, like Aveeno oat cleanser, as opposed to a pore-clogging oil balm. I have been using BoJ sunscreen for almost two years and was worried about skin sensitivity due to all the different ferment and niacinamide ingredients, but I'm glad to find that I have no issues with this sunscreen.
