Let me first say how Awesome the Customer service has been at idrinkcoffeevery fast shipping. I was quite surprised (In a good way) at how big this machine is, the measurements online are incorrect, this machine is 11"w x 19.5"h (top of handle) I loved that every accessory in the box had its own pouch with "Bellezza" logo on them. The Bellona heated up really quick in the brew tank (under 7 min.s) the steam boiler did take about 15 mins to get really good pressure, programming was super easy. I love the stainless finish, it really makes it look professional. Makes great coffee and my favorite Cortado's . I also bought the Eureka Mignon Perfetto grinder in Chrome to match Espresso maker, the grinder is incredible. Will post pix later. Highly recommended

So far seems consistent and I quite like the external water tank: easy to fill and clean, and allowed me to fit this dual-boiler machine on my not-very-deep counter.One poor design choice: while the top of the machine has plenty of space for warming/storage of cups, it is slanted in such a way that cups will always slide to the back.One annoying problem: the nut holding the steam wand was loose and dripping water when I received the device and it is very difficult to tighten given its placement.

Like the dual boiler and even the glass water tank outside of the machine (easier to fill). I really enjoyed the steam and separate water spout and programable shots etc., but…after 9 days, I got an error code re something defective and will be returning it. If this did not happen, I would say it was/is very good value. I don’t know enough about the Bellezza brand to know if it was/is a one off issue, or, rather a brand issue. I’ve gotten spoiled with espresso, and my other machine will be going back into use until I decide on a replacement model.

Nice thing is you can time the pre infusion which you could not do with a line restriction.The PID and controls seems to work well, but the 4 little soft touch buttons are going to wear out (I am afraid pretty quickly). If they were just to adjust the settings these could be OK, but one is the power button (daily use) and the + and - are used to switch between the temp in the 2 boilers.Which I need to switch to the steam boiler to tell is it is up to temp.Lastly the tray looks great in the store, but scratches a little easy, and does not fit perfectly so tends to rattle when putting or removing cups.Now all that aside:This is a GREAT UNIT, once up to temp I love it. Steam is hot and strong and goes forever. The little hot water is from the espresso boiler so the right temp for americano. I set it to 10 seconds for 3 oz. Generally 2 blasts for 1 oz of expresso with a short reheat in between. I could pull shots back to back, but the time it takes me to get ready for a second is longer than the reheat time even if I am pulling water for an americano.I really like the look and usability of the external water container.The included Tamper is very nice and while not using the singe, I do like that the set included both a single and double portafilter. I don't love that the baskets are not smooth sided (they are a recess for the portafilter locking wire) but still work well.
So far a great machine. I am coming from a 20-ish years old basic semi-automatic to this, so the difference is very substantial. Setup was very easy and straightforward. Heat up times are fast and temperature so far is very stable. The Idrinkcoffee team were also very helpful for some questions I had prior to making my purchase. I paired the machine this with a Eureka Silenzio.
The machine work like a charm! I love that you can control everything with the PID. The pressure gauge is also really helpful to dial beans. The machine is also really sturdy and heat really fast. It deliver consistent results too. Steaming power is also great, however i have not successufully done a perfect "foamy/mashmallow" latte yet as im still inexperimented. I would highly recommand on this price range or as à first prosumer machine!
Today is the second time no steam come out on my brand new Bellona I have to pull lever several times for the steam to come out. The water for the espresso is inconsistent. The pressure is 8 bars.I own a Breville Infuser for almost 10yrs. It makes good espresso. I thought it is time to upgrade so I bought the Bellona. I am disappointed. The Infuser out performed the Bellona in reliability and taste. I am disappointed! Maybe I bought a lemon.
My first double boiler. The value in this machine was irresistible to me.I can prepare milk while the PID controller takes care of preinfusion and shot time. The steam power was a next level from my last machine and took a couple of tries to get used to. Much faster than my first machine.The unit is shiny and very reflective. A person must be careful of which way the sun comes through the window ;-) .The portafilters are substantial. The baskets seem good; my shots are consistent with no stray sprays coming from the bottomless portafilter I also purchased. I have not tried an aftermarket portafilter so no opinion will be offered.The hand size adjustable tamper is very nice. The logo is still good on the top of it after hundreds of uses.The only negative I have ... MoreMy first double boiler. I'm guessing that a low level is sensed, leaving the boiler off but not triggering the boiler fill. Once I dispense one (1) second of water it resets itself and is back to normal operation.The Bellezza Bellona has made us happy.
I just received my Bellona. It looks beautiful, but is quite a bit wider than what was promised on this site... The depth and height are about right, but from my measurement it's 27cm wide not 21cm. I was choosing between this and another machine and not an insignificant part of why I went for this is because of how narrow it said it was. I rearranged my entire small condo kitchen to have it fit. Had to put away some other appliances that I'll need to figure out what to do with or potentially give away, if I keep the machine :(This is my first machine, so I can't speak much to the performance yet, I'll be figuring it out over the next few days (along with my new kitchen arrangement) to see how it goes. There are some minor quirks with the controls - the +/- buttons are reversed, so the left button (+) increases temperature, and right (-) decreases, which is counterintuitive. The steam lever has a 1-2s delay to start/stop, and I think it's the same for the manual shot option, but that might've been just me not pressing it hard enough. The external tank is a bit annoying to deal with, mostly due to the rod not sticking with the lid, so you gotta be aware of 3 pieces during a refilling. All these quirks are pretty minor though, I think the features and the price more than make up for them. Just a shame about the width though, as it might end up being a dealbreaker.
