Perfect bag for work! Classy tote look yet it's a backpack too!! Ample room length wise. Reasonable opening at the top (could have been a tad wider). Good amount of compartments/pockets. Overall I'm very happy and stoked with this bag!

The backpack is cute but small. The laptop slot is small and doesn’t fit my 15 inch laptop. I wish it had more horizontal pockets on the outside of the backpack. The vertical pockets on the sides are fine but small and not very easy to access. Overall it’s fine and works for my commute to work.

Just what I was wanting… 95% of all the aspects were as I wanted or even better. Only one thing that was the two outside side pocket's zip. Although the zips seem good quality the pocket folding over a tad means that it needs two hands to close a lot of the time. Otherwise really, really happy with this compact bag with lots of space pockets… well thought out!

Bought this for onboard luggage, daypack walking in Scotland, tote for shopping in Edinburgh. Has worked perfectly for everything I needed, with a place for each thing. Still looking new after six weeks of daily punishing use.
I wanted a navy blue backpack, that was my only criteria. It looked sleek and grown up, but it was just to small. I am 5’10” and it felt tiny. For the price I needed to love it and it just wasn’t there…the hardware on the shoulder straps were also cheap feeling and looking. Not enough pockets or compartments either. I was not looking for something rugged just something stylish to carry on trips.I returned for something else.
Got this pack about 3 weeks ago and it works perfectly for what I need. It's just the right size and has excellent organization for my needs. I can fit my 15" Macbook Pro, iPad Pro 11, a tech organization pouch, 18oz water bottle, and a bunch of other necessities. The material of the Ranger Green is the same as the older Marine Blue. It's nice, but rigid and kind of crinkly. I was a bit unsure as to how comfy the backpack straps would be since it's a convertible, but they're not bad at all.Overall, it's a nice tote-pack.
For me, the fit as a backpack is pretty good. The straps have enough padding, the length of them adjusts nice and I'm confident I can adjust them a bit larger for when it's winter coat time.All black wasn't my first choice of colour. However black was on sale and it was hard to resist saving the money. I have to admit that overall the look, the feel and the material are better than I had expected!I can fit my 14" work laptop, a water bottle, all the gadgetry I take with me, plus have room for a small lunch container if I wanted.I know from other reviews on other sites, the internal water pocket is something people complain about, they want external access instead. So far so good. It has proven durable over the last month since I’ve had it and I like the style. Not great for carrying heavy loads for a long time which is fine for my use. The front pockets can be a challenge sometimes with the vertical zipper
Fits my laptop and necessities when traveling to office. Looks professional and also casual for after work get togethers. Love it.
Oct. 2022 I bought the Tokyo Totepack specifically for hybrid working, now that I have to bring in my work laptop/mouse/power outlet (plus my usual lunch, personal items, etc) back and forth. I no longer want to look like I was going on a hike (yes, I do have those packpacks with zillions of outside pockets with zippers, and bungee cords hanging), or pretend to look like a cool teenager (yes, I do have those, too!). The texture/fabric of this bag is quite beautiful. It looks elevated (not like your usual sport packbacks). The only con for me is because it is a tote, the main compartement zippers don't go all the way down. Also, I have not have the chance to test the bag in the rain yet.
