I usually filled the little hike with organic, dye-free, vegan gummies, jk, I put a couple gummy bears in it 🤣. Good way to ration the sweet.

The overall concept, packaging and ease of use, along with usefulness, is great. This is my second purchase of a Bentgo box and my daughter really likes to peruse through the website for her pattern. I rate it at a 4 star and not a 5 for one repeatable issue that I would flag. Especially in the smaller compartments, I put fresh fruit into them for her daily lunch. I noticed that with both boxes that I have, the rubber sealing that surrounds the smaller compartments (with the fruit) always seem to develop black areas that look like mildew or something and are definitely a degradation or decay/pitting of the rubber. Eventually on my older box, I had to dispose of the casing due to the pitting in the rubber, so I assume there's a 4-5 month useful life of these items at a maximum. Overall though, they're perfect for a toddler's lunch!

We purchased 3 water bottles in different styles and so far 2 of 3 have broken within 2 weeks of use. The first thing to break is the rubber carrying handle which occured within 72 hours, eventually the mouth piece flip top mechanism breaks. My 3 year old dropped her bottle inside a retail store today and the bottle cracked in half causing total damage. Unfortunately toddlers can be clumsy so I don't recommend this item due to it's lack of strength and durability for everyday use. It is aesthetically pleasing and matches our Bentgo bags and lunchboxes, however, we will not be purchasing the drinking bottles again. For the price it is marketed we expected a much better quality product.
