Great product comes with almost everything you need besides a flint striker. Had a well corroded bolt, gave it head and came right out! Autozone does not shelf flint striker for a blow torch. Run to Home Depot or ACE hardware.

Using per the directions I had a hard time keeping the torch going. It would lite for a second and go out. Watched a few youtube videos from the vendor and learned to open the valve just enough to barely hear the hiss. I was then able to keep the torch lit. From there, only very small changes in the valve position or the flame would blow out. I would say the useful range of the valve is 0 to 1/4 open turn at the very most. The valve will open two full turns - but don't be fooled. The flame will not run at that level. Maybe a defective valve/torch? I was able to accomplish my project though.

Over the years I have bought several of these but I am worried that this one will not stand up to the punishment the others have. I still have 4 others and they all work. This one just looks fragile.

I’ve never used a torch before, needed it though to knock a ball joint loose. I definitely will need it for other project but my ball joint was so rusted not even heating it did the trick. Still is a helpful tool to keep around.
Torch worked better than anticipated. Even worked in windy condition with the right amount of coverage
Used it to heat up a frozen bolt and worked. The flame is a little hard to control with what they gave you but did the job fine. But I wish it came with a small ignitor to start the flame. Good for a emergency weekend job.
Worked like a charm to remove stuck bolts on my car! Worth every penny and the best price I could find compared to other retailers. Highly recommend!
This torch gets clogged every time I use it and I have to blow it out with my air compessor to get it to work again. Also, the gas valve does not shut off the gas immediately when I turn it off. A small blue flame continues to emit from the torch for at least 30 seconds after it is shut off. Kind of dangerous. On top of that, this torch does not work upside down or at unconventional angles. This torch works, just not very good. You get what you pay for.
The flame goes out if you even slightly tilt the bottle. Never had this issue with other brands.
Unit stop working PERMANENTLY when you use it upside down,(I called the company on this). I've replaced it 3 times already, they say its a failsafe, but it's poorly made. Would NOT recommend.
