This moka pot is one of my favorite ways of making coffees. Bialetti is a great brand to stand by, and their moka pot is no exception. Make sure you know exactly how to use it properly by looking at directions and/or YouTube videos. You’ll have high quality and easy-to-make espresso in no time!

I purchased a 4 cup and was surprised how small it was but then realised it is 4 espresso cups not a normal cup. Because it is small it only just fits onto my gas stove hub. I probably should have bought the 6 cup. Anyway easy to use and makes good coffee.

I love our Mokka pot so much! My boyfriend and I both use it daily and we can't even drink regular coffee anymore. We always make coffee at home and this was the next step up for sure, especially with our milk frother/warmer! Very easy to keep clean and use and so fun to learn the intricacies without being too tricky. I will say if you are looking for pro level espresso, this may not be the device for you. If you like simple but strong coffee and don't want to spend a ton and don't need lots of mechanics, get this pot.

Longtime user on my second Bialetti (first one lasted 8 years ) easy and satisfying to use. As there are more types of coffee beans promoted now having fun finding the best ones that suit my tastes . The Bialetti always produces good coffee even when you are just learning , great videos from these guys can guide you through the process . Best value for making great coffee consistently and easy to maintain and looks great in the kitchen without taking up much room . Thank you to the Italians .
Have been using these littke stovetopcoffee makers for fifty years and theyare still the best. I lived in Rome forthirty years and there is one in everyhome. Bialetti is the first and best inspite of many imitations that are badpourers.
Quality product from Italy. This is a no muck-around pot for brewing. If brewed correctly, a ruch cup of coffee can be achieved. I learnt alot from the video 'Moka Pot Voodoo: Real Espresso Flavour'.Alternative Brewing online store is the real deal, I have bought several other products since and have learnt from them. Quality service and fast postage, online help, videos, I highly recommend this site.
No wonder the vast majority of Italian households have one of these grand little espresso makers. It's easy to use, and clean. One doesn't even have to tamp down the coffee into the holder; in fact, the manufacturer advises against it. You fill the bottom with water up to the level of that odd looking little knobby thing on the side - which is actually a safety valve. Once cooled off, it cleans up easily with just a cold water rinse. I have a glass cooktop, and I put it in the center of the smallest ring the cooktop offers. Use a hot pad to lift the handle unless you have very small hands. Every part of the metal gets hot, but the handle and lid knob are safe to touch. Why hassle with your barista style espresso maker? Use a stovetop Bialetti.
My first Moka Pot, but surprisingly easy to use. The directions were straight forward and covered every concern I had. And I have thrown my instant coffee away. I’m annoyed that I hadn’t tried using a Moka Pot before now. I heat 2/3 cup of oat milk before adding the coffee and - perfection :-)
My first Moka Pot and once you have looked at a few Youtubes (James hoffman is good option) you do get the hang of the process and it does produce the 180ml of extract from the 300ml water as per spec on the 6 cup model. The size indication is probably given for Italians who would consider 30ml expresso as a cup, thus 6 cups from this model will only deliver 3 x 180ml cups of Armericano or cappuccino. Great method to have at hand as I can brew very nice coffee off-grid and on gas hob! Did also order the spare units for holder and seal rings
We recently purchased a coffee machine (as pictured) as a family Xmas present. It arrived in a timely manner, well packed, as all our previous purchases from Alternative Brewing. We choose to buy on line from Alternative Brewing as our past experiences have always been positive and we think it is a lovely business that we are keen to support. Our family are enjoying their coffee made using the product too.
