It’s a classic for a reason. It’s super reliable, lights up every time, and the size is perfect for carrying around in your pocket or bag. Plus, it lasts a good while, so you don’t have to keep buying new ones all the time. But, if I’m being honest, it’s pretty basic—no frills or extras. If you’re just looking for something that works and gets the job done, it’s perfect. But if you want something a little more stylish or with extra features, you might want to look elsewhere.

These are our go to lighters! they seem to last a lot longer! the durability of them is so much better and more heavy duty then others. the safety features on bic lighters i feel are more safe then others, kids can’t light them and have a hard time trying, compared to others where they are very easy to light. The fuel efficiency i would say is great!! One lighter last us a couple months and we have several around the house for candles or whatever we need if for really. They are very portable and can slip them in your pocket or pocket book or anywhere really, it’s small and don’t need a whole lot of space. we always make sure we have extras in places so we know where they are.

The Lighter… where do I start? I have been using lighters for 25+ yrs and I ONLY buy BIC. I always remove the child protection so it makes using much easier. I use my lighters for so much- lighting bbq, candles which I use daily, Im a smoker so I light my cigarette, my hubby lights cigars, we use it to smoke our 420 pipe, and to light paper to start burning our trash and so much more. There a few things I would say I ALWAYS have with me/on me at all times, my phone, a BIC, and lip balm. I use up a lighter about every 7-10 days depending on what Im doing. They fit comfortably in my hand. They are the ONLY lighter that fits into my Lighter Bro/Lighter Buddy case. It has a screwdriver, a knife and scissors on it. Love these! I thought that disposable lighters were pretty much all the same, but after buying these, I've changed my mind. I like to keep lighters in stock for our frequently occurring power outages, so I can light oil lamps, candles and fire-starters in the fireplace. I found that the inexpensive generic lighters were unreliable; wheel would freeze or stick or the flint would be used up before the fuel. That never happens with these BIC lighters. As I get older and my thumbs don't work as well, I find these lighters easier to use than the generics and reliable, even when they've been sitting in the drawer for months or years. They never leak and always work....what else could you ever want?
This is one of those classic American items you always have in your house. It is inexpensive and wallet, friendly. It’s also incredibly easy to use and seems to last quite a long time. We enjoy the safety feature so that we don’t have any scary accidents in our house. The flame is nice and stable so we don’t have to deal with that issue. We will always buy this brand because it never fails us 
Big pocket lighter the best pocket lighters. Durable portable easy to take along with you or leave at home for candles. The ignition mechanism does not hurt your fingers trying to light it. The big lighters have a safety guard over the spark guard making it difficult for children under 5 to light. And the fluid in lighter last a very long time. I would recommend this lighter to everyone that needs a lighter.
Bic lighters......there is no substitute. Best gas match available. Cool designs. The fitty count tray should last a while as well. Each lighter is child-resistant so you can comfortably use this lighter at family gatherings. Whether you're lighting a birthday candle or staying prepped for an emergency. Highly recommend this product to anyone.
I have lots of Bic lighters, colored ones, ones with designs, they're truly the most durable, longest lasting all around classic and BEST lighters and throughout the years I've ever collected some that are now empty but I keep because I just love, love, love the design. And the ignition mechanism, easy peasy but keep out of children's reach if they don't know better to not play with lighters! We as adults know better not to leave them laying around for kids to get into if they've not been taught better than to play with them and tots wouldn't be able to strike it up but still. I have always used BIC lighters for DECADES because they are always the best lighters, most reliable and long-lasting but recently, the last couple times I have bought a package of the regular size lighters, they ran out of fluid so fast! I do not keep them in my pocket or anything like that that could have caused this. Always just leave them laying right on the table. It has happened with every one of them so not just a fluke or an isolated incident. I have a friend who commented and said the same. They were empty really quickly, a lot faster than usual and was out and had to go buy more again already. I said "OMG! ME TOO!" He was surprised, said he thought he just got a bad package or something but now thinks they must not be filling them up as much. I see the price hasn't gone down any and if anything, I believe it's increased. Just keeping in step with most things on the market today I guess,,, package gets smaller, quantity is less but the price goes up!I will still have to say that I would recommend them because still the best lighter out there but logging my complaint about the shortened lifespan. I wish BIC would make a refillable lighter just like the classic disposable ones but refillable! Of course will never do that because they work so well, unless you lose it or someone jacks it, a person would never have to keep buying a five pack of them weekly! dont bother buying any of these. I thought it could have been an outlier, so i stuck with my go to lighters, after 8 purchases, the flame instantly got so small it would melt the plastic brackets that hold the flint wheel in place. Once melted enough, the spring would literally shoot the wheel into my face and bounce across the room.I contacted BIC about this, gave them the serial numbers off the lighters, hoping for an explanation, and never received contact back.They went from the best lighters on the market to the cheapest things out there.Its embarrassing how low quality they have become.
