Very safe and handy during barbecues. Good value for money. Very easy to operate. One lighter stays for very long time. Almost full season. Must have if you like to do camping and barbecues

The Lighter… where do I start? I have been using lighters for 25+ yrs and I ONLY buy BIC. I always remove the child protection so it makes using much easier. I use my lighters for so much- lighting bbq, candles which I use daily, Im a smoker so I light my cigarette, my hubby lights cigars, we use it to smoke our 420 pipe, and to light paper to start burning our trash and so much more. There a few things I would say I ALWAYS have with me/on me at all times, my phone, a BIC, and lip balm. I use up a lighter about every 7-10 days depending on what Im doing. They fit comfortably in my hand. They are the ONLY lighter that fits into my Lighter Bro/Lighter Buddy case. It has a screwdriver, a knife and scissors on it. I also use BICs other type of lighters like their candle lighter, they have mini sized lighters, my favorite is their wrapped lighters that have pretty pictures on them or a relatable quote. Oh and we don’t like the electric ones they make. The button isn’t comfortable to use once than once or twice, I like the flick of the Bic. In the picture of all the lighters- what I did was I asked everyone in the room to pull out their lighters and every single one was a Bic of some kind.

great lighters! easy to use and super straight forward. The long ones are convenient for lighting candles towards the bottom so you don’t burn yourself. Cheap price point as well and they work well enough to get good use for your money.

Hard to Use

I bought these Multi-Purpose, Classic Edition BIC lighters because BIC is a trusted brand name. These BIC lighters have a button on top that you need to press down on while pulling the trigger (for child safety reasons, I guess). I need 2 hands to make it operate, and then it works maybe once out of 8-10 tries (with 2 hands!) Either I have too small hands, or they made them "adult-proof"! Not happy

Perfect if you have 20 minutes to get the thing to light

These lighters made me wish I just had a different lighter. Or matches. They're terrible and made me feel inferior. As if I was the weakest and most uncoordinated person on the planet.

Requires too much finger strength

Horrible! This lighter requires tremendous pressure on both two black switches, simultaneously, in order to operate. I am not sure if the manufacturer intended this as a child safety feature, or what. My hands were not strong enough to operate this one-handed. (My old lighter from another brand could be operated one-handed easily). Now I have to return it. Disappointed.

[Rewarded Review] I love the flexibility

What a convenient way to light candles! I find the Bic Flex Wand so convenient to use, it gives me so much better access to candles. I imagine it will be fantastic come spring to light my barbeque, and I plan to use it to light my fires in the fire pit! It's nice to have that space between the flame and what you are lighting. The lighter works great, gives a flame in one click. I had a few tries to get the safety feature and my click to light down but one I figured that out it worked great! The safety feature is excellent as you never know when someone will pick it up that shouldn't! I'm loving this handy tool! I received a unit to sample and review.

Thank you ViewPoints for providing me with this BIC lighter for free to review! This thing is AWESOME! Because the head of it flexes and moves in many different ways you can EASILY light just about anything! I tried lighting a charcoal grill and it was easily flexible to fit through the grid! I also tried to light a pilot light on a stove and was able to flex it in just the right spot! I will definitely be buying this BIC flex wand again and will be recommending it to everyone I know!!!

This lighter was so easy to use! Although I'd never heard of this multi use lighter before I was excited to test it for free in exchange for opinion. My husband used it first to light the grill and was beyond excited. It's so hard to light the charcoal with either a regular lighter or paper. I found the perfect use however in my opinion. I have many tea light candle display wall hangings. What a pain it's always been to take candle out, light it, and then try to get back in the glass container without either burning myself or putting the candle out. Now I simply hook the bendable end of the lighter to go right in the canister! It's so easy to use, I can even use my non dominant hand. I highly recommend this multi use lighter to anybody that needs a multi use lighter!

no instructions on the package

tried to use it. took awhile but managed to light it. thing is there was no instructions on the packaging so I had to use my imagination. I only found out hotly to use it by looking at the website. why not put the instructions on the package to avoid all this indecisive investigative work?! it shouldn't be much work to put it on the package. if you can put the warnings you can put the instructions. its that simple.
