Far superior to our previous Sunbeam circular dehydrator. Did a heap of research prior to purchasing - this one had great reviews, and hasn’t disappointed. Plenty of space, even drying and some cool accessories. Super quiet, actually quite relaxing to listen to!

I bought this to replace my el cheapo Aldi dehydrator. The plastic trays were falling apart and finally the heating element went.so why upgrade from a $40 to a $300 model. Firstly the stainless steel bpa free trays. I also love the mesh sheets, i bought 4 extra as i dry a lot of activated nuts, sunflower seeds and tiny chillis. I am loving the easy access the horizontal trays provide. Also love that i can pull all the trays out and raise pizza dough. Its super easy to use and really quiet, and the 3 year earranty is also a nice touch.

Like most things these days we were spoilt for choice and needed to consider a number of reviews and recommendations for dehydrators that would work within our budget but more importantly churn out enough treats for a family of 3 Golden Retrievers! This machine seems to do the job just as expected - probably better as we had never used a dehydrator before. The unit seems to be of high quality, runs quietly and does the job it was designed to do. You just need to have a fair bit of kitchen bench space as its a fairly large unit -equivalent to a microwave in size. We will probably relocate ours to our garage or garden cabin now that we are comfortable with how it works and are getting the hang of how to use it.

Great dehydrator. Upgraded from a round one, completely different experience. Well worth the money. The non stick fruit leather sheets are really good. Very thin to allow heat transfer, drying times way less using these compared to silicone.
Sturdy unit with lots of benefits. Much quieter than my previous unit, which is something I didn't think to take into account when choosing a unit. It makes a huge difference! Generous number of mats come with the unit, but better yet, a piece of silicone baking paper fits exactly on the trays - just need to get the length correct, which is easy if you use a mat to measure. Such a simple but time-saving benefit. The door does not have hinges but slides up and off, which is great, because my previous unit had plastic pin-hinges, which broke off. I love that the metal shelves go in the dishwasher. I like the digital display and button operation, which is easy to figure out. I love that the metal shelves go in the dishwasher. I like the digital display and button operation, which is easy to figure out. Only complaint is that there are no setting up instructions for the innards, ie which mat is used for which purpose; exactly where the trays should slide in; what the white plastic tray is for. I figured it out, but a little diagram online would be nice. Overall, it is a much better unit than my previous (very old) high-end brand unit. Would recommend.
Fantastic machine. Love my new BioChef dehydrator. It's quick, quiet and can dry a lot of fruit at once. Compared it to a batch I dried with a friend's old round 5 tray dehydrator and found the old version made the rind to hard and chewy. I guess due to it needing a longer drying time. The temperature adjust and timer features are a must!
Love my new Arizona Sol. I replaced an older, noisier and less capable machine. The Sol does a brilliant job. I did brown rice, tomatoes, capsicum, olives and chilli on my first go, and it all turned out perfectly. I can easily control the time and temperature with the simple to use display and buttons. The supplied non stick sheets, mesh sheets and drip tray are easy to use and clean. I use baking paper on the metal racks, particularly with marinated foods like jerky, which makes the clean up a breeze. Very happy with the Sol and glad I bought it ;-D
This was bought as an upgrade from my first (starter) dehydrator. I'm very, very happy with my purchase. It's easy to use. Minimal noise. Easy to clean. It does everything that I want it to do and my doggy loves her treats that I've made for her. It holds so much that I need to get used to buying more produce as I'm yet to use all the trays. It was also worth getting the larger model as it includes free baking sheets.
We used this to make meat jerky for our dog. Easy to use and the metal trays are easy to clean. We're curious about the brand and how it compares to others, though. Devanti has an identical-looking machine, but a much lower price point.
