20+ years with Birkis, you tend to know them
I always ordered Birkenstock clogs straight from the manufacturer in Germany. Took a very long time to come but no tax or shipping fee oddly, but genuine.12 to 30 hour shifts by me the Chef or my ex-wife the Ortho/ ER nurse made these clogs the best option from cheaper brands.Easy clean-up, 1 of the best no slip shoes available, they have some weight and seem often too wide but I believe this is strategy as you never want your foot enclosed tightly by anything creating moisture but fresh air.I personally have been using 2 sets of the Profi version for 12 years. I put them thru hell. Wife thu me out and was homeless ..Wore them every day for 7 years, only damage is where they should be on the heel and finally split at the top, my previous version hadn't done that ... I never had issues with squeeking, seems to me those with issues bought smaller sizes or larger or simply walk different. I do prefer the cork insole over poly tho but when i was homeless i had extremely stank feet the cork would have been trashed with every sock i wore. generally the use of clogs not being tight adds airflow to keep feet dry., thats a huge bonesCroks cant compare or anything with laces needing nonslip or comfort. My 4th year of proffis.. never squeaked , had a weird abrasion on top of foot but went away.... Would have been good except had not tried on before ordering due to social distancing. Size 41 in this style did not equate closely to Size 41 in my other closed in shoes The London. So have returned this latest pair & will await new stock in size 40. I will need them for ability to wash them thoroughly after work in Emergency Department in hospital. Tried Bogs but inadequate footbed support for long days at work. Just need confirmation that $$s are back in my account. Thank you.... Show more

comfort
I don't generally write reviews but this product warranted one. I recently started an active job where my feet were really in serious pain at the end of each sift. I purchased orthotics and 250 $ shoes to no avail. I also had an ingrown toenail so I wanted some space in the toe to let it heal.My husband suggested these and I decided to give them a try. I also walk through an area where the floor can be slick and these are awesome, the only shoes I feel safe in.In 2 days my life really changed with these shoes. They are hard enough in the upper foot/toe covering that when I accidentally kicked a door, it did not damage my foot or hurt toe.It is really REALLY comfortable to slip these on. I would suggest getting the size you really wear, they are very true to size.I will purchase another pair, they are the best!If you want fancy and gorgeous "night out on the town" shoes, these are not that. They are utterly comfortable, but not particularly fashionable, but that was NEVER my consideration and they are worth far more than I paid for them!... Show more

Fit strangely
Ordered two pairs and had to send both back. The first pair, in the size I always wear in Birkenstocks, was way too big. Ordered one size smaller and they were too short, but still too wide. Gave up.... Show more

Foot and the life of kitchen feet’s
It is not often I have to buy new profi’s! I Have worn these for the last 18 years of my career. And this will be my third pair. Four if you count the brand new ones my dog used as a chew toy! That is a story for another time. I not only wear these at work, I stopped wearing other shoes all together…everywhere! My wife hates it. I digress. Theses are excellent if you want comfort while being on your feet all day, being less prone to slipping, keeping hot liquids off your feet if you happen to be a chef, and they last a really long time. They also make an excellent, albeit very pricey chew toy for dogs. 10/10 when the time comes 6 or so years down the road I will purchase them again. Use the measurements that Birkenstock recommends and you will have no problems. Hope ... MoreIt is not often I have to buy new profi’s! I Have worn these for the last 18 years of my career. It's a NO for me
The product thought was there, but they are not functional enough. They are VERY heavy. They are flopping off my heal, but the length is shaped funny up front because my toes are hitting the curve. The material is solid, durable in appearance. The insert is replaceable. I really like the overall design. I even like the imprint of the bedding structure. I'm saying true to size because of the flopping/my toes hit the top... IDK. You'll get some exercise for sure 😂... Show more

I've worn Birkenstock sandals for years and I love them. These clogs
I've worn Birkenstock sandals for years and I love them. These clogs, however, are not sandals. The arch support is fine, the polyurethane material that these clogs are made of is stiff an unforgiving. I have a hammer toe and the shoe rubs several of my toe joints to the point of them being raw. I wear heavy socks and corn pads which help to a certain extent, but being on my feet 10 plus hours a day makes the pain sometimes unbearable. I'll never buy shoes p, without trying them on first, again. If they were leather they would have some give, but alas they are not. The one clog that I wear on my good foot feels great but this stupid hammer toe makes it hard to find good shoes anyway. My next pair of Birkenstock clogs will definitely be leather.... Show more

Super Bummed
Unfortunately they don't fit. They are wide and at least a whole size too big. Also there didn't seem to be enough cushion. I'm bummed. I'm going to return them.... Show more

I have bought this same shoe for decades. It has been the only shoe I wear most all the time. I work in the medical field. The last pair I bought are way too stiff. They used to be a little stiff for a short time and would break in and be fine. They must of changed the polyurethane they are using. They are too stiff to wear regularly and do not seem to soften up. I wore them to a 3 day outdoor music festival with lots of walking and was left with sore feet for days.... Show more
