I originally purchased this due to a new addition of a puppy in our household and having little messes to clean up.The way that this product works and clean my floors, both carpet and tiles is truly incredible ) I love it! The self cleaning function at the end makes for an easier way to clean the interior and roller. The only thing I wish was that the battery would last a little longer as I have a four bedroom house, two living area and two bathroom house, I can get through it but have to rush a little to complete the whole house before the battery runs out. I barely use my Dyson anymore due to purchasing the crosswave cordless max and would recommend this to anyone looking for an all purpose vacuum cleaner/mop. Its great and well worth the expensive price tag

Mopping is the one thing I absolutely hate, I have a horrible back so it's always caused me so much pain to do and usually results in my having to sit on my bum and do it. But not anymore! I love that I dont need to vacuum before I mop and again afterwards, it can take a little while for harder marks to be removed but you don't need to put any real effort into it like a traditional mop. I do wish the dirty water tank was a bit bigger. I've also used it on the carpet after my new cat forgot when the litter box was, using the pre treat spray and then going over it with the multi surface cleaner now you wouldn't even know there was ever an issue! Probably one of my favourite appliances I've purchased.

I was a Dyson fan for a long time - and still am not knocking those guys. But this product has upped my cleaning game and given me more time to enjoy other activities. Pre-purchase vacuuming my entire home and then steam mopping took a long time. Always loves the results but not the time it took. My new machine does it in half the time, not as expensive as Dyson abut probably the best feature I like apart from clean, pretty smelling floors it the self-cleaning component and wen emptying the waste cannister there are no dust particles flying every way putting that yuck out in the atmosphere and the hard dirt is separated from the liquid so easy to chuck in the bin because of the strainer!!!!I wish it could do slightly longer than 30 minutes when you feel like taking ... MoreI was a Dyson fan for a long time - and still am not knocking those guys. Also love that it is cordless. Have recommended the same to my friends who are expecting first babies and have pets to minimise the amount of time to clean and being first time mums when they still have to deal with pet hair. Also recommended to judicial officers who are not too stuck up to help out with the housework!

I purchased a Bissell Crosswave Max in the hope of nice things to come, first week I hated it, 2nd week starting to like it 3rd week well I think it is Ok.Very good at refreshing rugs and cleaning tiled floors hard floors however do get streaky but its got a bit to do with the way it is used, solution need to be reduced, I will keep it even if its only for the bathroom and rugs. Bissell recognize model # 2765F for sales bit forgetful on warranty not in their list so I guess keep the receipt. It definitely needs a second filter and brush. I think the cleaning liquid could be better as well. As good as technology is these days we tend to want better. I will keep my sabco mop, for under beds, the crosswave doesn't drop down far enough. I will see what the next couple ... MoreI purchased a Bissell Crosswave Max in the hope of nice things to come, first week I hated it, 2nd week starting to like it 3rd week well I think it is Ok.Very good at refreshing rugs and cleaning tiled floors hard floors however do get streaky but its got a bit to do with the way it is used, solution need to be reduced, I will keep it even if its only for the bathroom and rugs. Love it vacumes and mops at same time. One or two sweeps, for stubborn messes, job done. No cord to worry about. Half house one day, the other the next. Amazing how clean my floors look, and embarrassing how black the water is at the end. Two things, wish battery lasted 10 min longer and still need to occasionally hand mop along skirting dur to the crosswave not cleaning right to the edge. More benefits outweigh these two concern.
The unit is easy to move around and stores fairly compact. On tile it works OK, cleans up OK, however the brush just-just touches the surface or does not offer enough "pressure" on the surface in my opinion, unless you constantly push the water-spray button. Compared to a simple hand-mop, it leaves a lot to be desired unless you soak the floor. This does become an issue on laminate flooring though - we have semi-water resistant/proof laminate, so it can handle a bit of water without issues. The indentations between the boards easily then fill with water and unless you angle the machine inline with the grooves, it does a poor job of lifting/sucking the water out of the 0.5/1mm indentations between the boards... this machine will destroy cheaper-MDF laminate boards. ... MoreThe unit is easy to move around and stores fairly compact. The "water vacuum power is poor" and as a result, you spend a lot of time to dry the floor. This means the battery and operating time is poor for a given floor area. Have about 80SQ Laminate and 3 bathrooms (Tile / 20SQM) - it takes 2 charges to do this - just just gets the job done. Benefit is, the dirty water is not spread around the floor like a normal mop, so this is where this machine wins. Just worried about the battery performance in the long run, as it is not an easy official part to find/replace. It works, but should offer better performance for the price.
As a lazy person who hates cleaning, I am totally in love with the Bissel Cross Wave Cordless Max! It vacuums and mops at the same time, cutting down the time spent keeping our hardwood floors looking amazing. Ive also used it on the tiles in the wet areas and it works fantastically well there too. Its really easy to use with the cleaning solution and I was horrified when I saw the water in the dirty chamber. Its great as the clean water and dirty water are kept separate and the self clean function takes care of the roller (mop). I can do the whole house using the large area markings on the clean water compartment and the battery lasts the whole time too, about 30 minutes all up for me. Extremely satisfied with my purchase and it has made looking after my floors so ... MoreAs a lazy person who hates cleaning, I am totally in love with the Bissel Cross Wave Cordless Max! Bought the cross wave to help with regular cleaning of a high traffic sunroom. The sunroom can get very dusty and unfortunately the crosswave doesnt seem to clean it well. It leaves streaks if I dont use enough water or drops water if I use too much water. Its not an appliance that you can use to quickly clean up an area either. You need to go slow over really dirty floors. Having said that the crosswave is amazing on my hardwood floors and bathroom tiles. The floors look great and it doesnt leave streaks or drop water like it seems to on the sunroom tiles. Ive ordered a different roller to see if this helps with the sunroom floor. Fingers crossed it does. The crosswave is time saver indoors.
It does what its meant to. And does it well! have three young kids so this has been a champ to use after every meal. Its easy to clean as long as youre not sucking up a whole meal off the floor. So I find myself needing to mop less often. It makes cleaning crumbs, spills and even vomit easier. The one minor fault I can give is that its quite heavy so can be hard to manoeuvre if youre using it to mop/vacuum an entire house or trying to get under furniture. Oh and the other is that the floor takes awhile to dry off if the room doesnt have enough ventilation/a fan.
So angry at myself for spending $700 this machine sux. It doesnt clean effectively, its heavy to push an pull around one handed, it leaves floors streaky. Does not clean up close to walls or skirting. The chemicals for it are too expensive an hard to access only 2 shops in my town sell the chemical. The roller stinks even after self cleaning mode. Would not recommend. Not good for a full house clean. Maybe just a spill or quick job.
