Bissell Little Green Multipurpose Portable Carpet Cleaner 1400B

I can’t say enough about this little green machine. Pets, kids, day to day traffic…whatever the case may be, this is the perfect cleaner. It’s not too big so easy to store. It’s extremely easy to use. And the results speak for themselves. Things that may look clean are probably not. This is from one pass on my couch cushions which did not look dirty to begin with. I don’t have pets but I do have a young son. So spills on the rug, furniture, this machine sucks then right up. I use the Bissell cleaning solution with it(you get a free bottle with purchase and it’s lasted me almost a year). Do not hesitate to jump on this purchase, it is totally worth it! And the price is unbelievable.

Beyond My Wildest Dreams!

I purchased this product after one of my dogs became epileptic. Their first massive seizure led to a lot of incontinence and messy eating. The vet recommended a cushion for her to lay on, and all we had was our giant bean bag, so that's where she healed and we nursed her back to health. Our trials and tribulations with her sickness is stained all over the inner lining of the bean bag. I thought I would never get the smell out, but this Little Green Machine gave me a new hope! The white part is the original color, while the darker stains are, well, doggy business. This product is such a life saver! I'm not embarrassed to have guests over anymore, thanks to Bissell's Little Green Machine!

Cleans carpet easily and is very portable

The Bissell green machine is easy to use and I like how portable it is and all the hoses attach after clipping on the initial clamps included. I think it does a good job cleaning and I am happy with how to empty it as well.I wish there was an easier way to clean the wand that sucks carpet filament and gets stuck. It does not seem to impede the cleaning process and floors get cleaned as advertised, but it bothers me that I can see the carpet in the wand. There may be a way and I'm too novice to know though. I never review products, but I'm happy with this and would buy again!! And recommend!

Connection to Cleaning Head Broke After 10 Uses

We use this cleaner very seldom- only when we have a pet accident or a stain on upholstery. We have only used it about 10 times since purchasing over a year ago. I use it carefully and follow all use and cleaning instructions because I was hoping this would last long term. Unfortunately, the last time I attempted to use it, the piece connecting the suction head to the hose snapped off completely.Prior to this I was frustrated by how hard the suction head was to clean out when pet hair got inside by accident (unavoidable if using for pet clean ups), but was willing to deal with it because it did work well for pet accidents and stain removal. However, the fact that it can't withstand infrequent careful use without breaking is unbelievable. I dislike that this machine is made of cheap plastic pieces, but hate to throw away an otherwise useable item so will suck up the cost and purchase a replacement for the part. However, I would not recommend anyone purchase this new as it doesn't last long term and you'd be better off buying a higher quality machine up front.

I really want my money back so I can look at other machines

I really want my money back. The machine works fine but the design of the bottles and the machine stupidest dumbest most inconvenient piece of crap I've ever used. Have you tried using this thing when you pull the tanks off and you have to refill it please tell me how you hold onto it so that you can fill it clean it, rinse it, dump it out without it, slipping out of your hands and spilling all over the place, how do you stand it up so you can pour stuff in it you don't and then it's impossible once you start putting cleaner in it slipped out of your hands I'm gonna look for my receipt because I'm pretty sure it hasn't been 90 days. Shape of the tanks are way too slippery. Impossible to remove. You can't set them down in case you need to grab the bottle of cleaner. ... MoreI really want my money back. Momma was right

Despite having a sheet protector, pee would seep through onto our sons' mattresses. We would try spot cleaning, but nothing really got the stains out. And we were covering up the smell with sprays but know they weren't really clean. So my mom suggested this portable cleaner. And of course, momma was right.This along with the bissell cleaner and elbow grease got the stains out and left the mattresses smelling wonderful. It was easy to put together. Instructions show you how to clean different ways. The deep clean method worked best. The machine is easy to carry and move around. Filling, emptying and cleaning the containers is seamless.Overall, this is well worth the spend.

My best buy!

I was interested in buying one of these for awhile buy hesitated because of the price. When I finally bought one, I was SO happy I did. I bought the machine to help with stains and urine smells in furniture. The first time I used the machine I didn't read the instructions so I forgot to use the cleaner before hand. Even just using water, there was SO MUCH dirt and grime that came out. The water was filthy. When I used it a second time with the cleaning fluids, it was amazing. I don't know how well it does in deep, old stains, but it is great on getting out new stains before they set in and deep cleaning. I even took this to my car, where I had a spill of soup on a seat a year ago. Never buy leaks everywhere

Just bought this machine because the good reviews out number the bad reviews. Read the instructions several times as New to me, but have used at someone else's house. When I sprayed with the trigger the hose part where it connects to the head sprayed out water and solution everywhere. Made sure it was connected it was. Okay then tried the other head same thing happened. So in conclusion my couch is soaked and the suction was terrible nothing but 2 Tbsp in the bad water. Will be returning and never will use Bissell products again.

And after awhile, looking at the carpet in the bedroom, time to tackle it decently. I heard that this was supposed to be good, and easy to use, and got it. Not sure if the water needs to be heated to 140 F, since it will quickly cool down, but I warmed the water. Using the Bissell Spot and Stain solution, I got ready. I moved everything I could out of the room, vacuumed, then mapped out my strategy, as there were many, many spots to treat. I could never have expected how quickly and well it worked. You have the tank filled with hot water, you screw on the black cap, and when you invert it, water squirts out the vent hole. Putting you finger over the hole stops it, but the water is hot that wants to come out.
