I have had my Bissell power force Helix Turbo for 12 months. I am a professional cleaner so it gets about 7 times more use than it would just for my own home. It picks up my cat and dog hair with ease. The only downside is that replacement belts need to come from Australia and take 2 weeks to arrive so something to be aware of

Ours has joined many others in the return section. AMAZING vacuum but it suddenly made a loud noise and started smoking for no reason. Yes it was maintained well, yes we blew the filters out with the air compressor, yes we changed the belt.....all to no avail. I'm gutted. The best clean but shoddy lifespan.

I bought this vacuum this morning. I read reviews saying that it flicked up stuff on hard floors. HOWEVER.. on the front of the vacuum and in the videos it has a dial to flick it to a setting for hard floors. I have mainly tiles in my house so I was worried but I had no issue with it flicking stuff back or out. It is light and easy to use. It is very loud though which is probably my only gripe. I have a 2 year old and a pooch that sheds like you wouldn't believe. One trip around my house and I was shocked to see what this vac picked up. The other great thing is that I can store this one in my vacuum cupboard or stand in a corner and it's neat. I have included the pic of the one trip around my house.

I have had my Bissell power force Helix Turbo for 12 months. I am a professional cleaner so it gets about 7 times more use than it would just for my own home. It picks up my cat and dog hair with ease. The only downside is that replacement belts need to come from Australia and take 2 weeks to arrive so something to be aware of

4Stars . Our home is large and relatively clutter free wide head allows me to vacuum swiftly. Suction is great and so requires frequent emptying & filter cleaning which is an easy enough process. Hard to reach spaces, corners, crevices are virtually impossible to get to with this unit, so I opted to keep my old vacuum to call upon when needed for those spaces. It definitely sounds like a Diesel powered monster truck, and requires a bit of force to move it along but its hardly a problem because the suction is that good.
The worst vaccum cleaner ever. The most un ergonomic style. The boxy front is clumsy and big, it hardly slides under anything before it hits into the rest of the vaccum cleaner. Can’t even get under beds or drawers. You take I attach the pipe for skirtings etc but it’s limited with how short it os to reach places. It’s a total monster and really loud. I would not recommend at all. It’s good for vacuuming an empty square space and that’s about it. Also hopeless for vacuuming the car, the pipe is too short so you have to lift the whole thing in the car . No extra attachments either. Don’t be fooled by the suction being ok. The rest is rubbish and I wish I returned it for a refund.

Powerful, light and easy to manouver. I thought my carpets were clean because I was using my older expensive upright. I decided to get the bissell to use downstairs as i thought it wasn't going to be as good as my expensive upright. When i received it (very fast too) i tried it upstairs and could not believe the amount of dust it picked up. I was gobsmacked!! Needless to say the bissell is now the main vacuum and the other has been moved downstairs. i can't believe how versatile it is and how much it picks up. The cord is quite long as well, making the job a lot more pleasant. Big bin and easy empty. I am very pleased with my purchase.
Pros - strong suction, easy to assemble when following instructions, affordable price for those not wanting to spend too much. Washable filter. It does the job. Has the extra parts for getting into smaller areas.Cons - It's bigger, cord not long enough so having to stop and change when going into different rooms, loud but doesn't bother me - least it drowns out my screaming kids!
I bought this after having a small wireless hoover which just wasnt cutting it for a home with 2 dogs! This vacuum came in guns blazing and it's like i have a new carpet. I was initially looking at vacuums costing $500-$1000, but thought i'd give this a go as i have heard good things about bissel and it did not disappoint. The suction is amazing and pulled up so much dust and dirt in only a couple of passes. It is a bit bulky and awkward to move around but for the power and clean it is work it. The attachments are good for getting in those corners, though the tubing could be a bit longer.
This vacuum is worth every cent. I absolutely love it but here's a few things:1. Very easy to assemble and light to pickup2. It's heavy/hard to push on the carpets and floors because of powerful suction, wouldn't be good for anyone with arthritis ect..3. It's corded so you don't have to rush around like a mad man before a battery runs out.4. This is better than my Dyson!My carpets feel like they've had a professional clean!Amazing
