Used it a few times since buying it, no real issues, made short work of similar holes my battery drill struggled with. Not a bad drill at all for under £30

Had no problems with this drill at all. The other review mentions issues with the keyless Chuck but I’ve had none. It’s great for a Diyer who will be using it infrequently. Having said that I’ve used this too drill through my concrete panel garage without issue and it took a beating when renovating the garden. It hasn’t missed a beat so I cannot recommend it highly enough.

This product is not suitable for drilling concrete. I bought this thinking it is a good power corded hammer drill. But when I drilled through concrete the power is just not enough. Even though i spinned in and out, it took ages to drill through and i would certainly not recommend this product

I bought this drill for some light to intermediate diy around my new home. It has been excellent, better than my heavy drill to be honest. I was reluctant to buy having read other reviews but I am really happy I did get it.It's drilled, with ease, brick, tiles and wood.I bought bosch drill bits online which were fairly cheap. An ideal diyers drill.Overall an excellent product from a reputable brand.
A good, well balanced drill with variable speed through trigger. Value for money and hammer drill useful, replaced a bosch where motor burnt out after 12 months and 5 days ! Only used for light DIY, hope this lasts longer.
Just needed a basic drill for DIY. I’ve had one of these before and they last ages. Might be corded but still practical around the house
This hammer drill was purchased when I found my normal drill wasn't up to drilling holes in brick. So far I've used this new drill for fitting brackets in my shed to hang up two bikes, hang an outside wall mirror, and to fit a shower in my tiled bathroom. The chuck tightening mechanism of twisting is not the best, as the drill bit can sometimes become loose. However, overall I would say this drill is good value for jobs around the home.
Initial thoughts when opening seemed OK. Good enough to do a few outstanding jobs around the house and hopes weren't too high given the price point.Sadly, this drill isn't worth a penny. Seriously. The keyless chuck just wasn't up to the job. In the hammer setting, every 10 seconds or so, the drill bit would come loose and you'd have to retighten it. Yes, it really was every 10 seconds. I thought maybe my grip wasn't strong enough so asked a friend to see if they had more luck, and exactly the same problem. It made a simple job of drilling 6 holes in brickwork turn into a 2 hour long affair.
Bought this specifically for it's touted ability to drill 13mm of masonry to complement a combo drill but this drill simply isn't up to that task. The keyless chuck comes unscrewed every few seconds, and there's barely enough power to get through plaster let alone brick or concrete. I gave it a go on a wood block and it struggled with a bore hole on wood. Returning this for a different brand.
I bought this for my GF to use in a drillstand in making Africentric jewellery. Obviously she needs both hands accurately and steadily to position the workpiece. But the lock button (near a typical user's right thumb) does absolutely nothing, so she has to keep one hand on the trigger - and so cannot properly stabilise the workpiece. I've been using power tools for 57 years and this is ridiculous.
