This year black diamond have completely redesigned their classic climbing helmet. The redesign centres around two elements, fit and weight. After years of feedback on the fit, the helmet now provides a broader fit to suit more head shapes and sizes, this is complimented by the addition of a custom wheel adjuster on the back, so you can really dial in the perfect fit! No compromise to safety The weight saving changes (more than 40 grams) by comparison to the original Half Dome comes from Black Diamonds continuous research and development into the materials they build their products from. The Half Dome now features a hybrid design of moulded EPS which allows them to shave weight with absolutely no compromise to safety.
