Blackridge Air Spray Gun Siphon Feed Paint Tank 10 Litre
When a standard hand held spray gun just isn't up to the task, this Blackridge siphon fed 10 Litre spray painting system is the only reasonable place to turn. Complete with pressure regulator, hoses, spray gun and even a gun holder built into the lid of the 10 Litre tank, this is the perfect complete package for the true professional. Instead of having to chase down a number of components before painting can begin, this Blackridge air spray gun comes with everything you need to get going except for a compressor, air hose and the paint itself. Paint can easily be poured into the 10 Litre tank, by simply unscrewing the four tool-less clamps on the sides of the tank, and lifting off the lid. As the spray gun stand, pressure regulator and all fittings are affixed to the lid, once removed, the tank is completely obstruction free for filling. After sealing the tank again, operating the system is very simple. A neat pressure regulator sits atop the tank, with recommended pressures listed in an easy to read instruction pamphlet. Once the desired pressure is set, simply fire up the compressor, let the paint tank pressurise, and start painting. Purpose built for large painting jobs such as full houses, industrial buildings and large vehicles, this Blackridge spray gun and pressure regulated tank can also be used on smaller tasks too like domestic vehicles and fences, presenting huge advantages over smaller guns. Namely, instead of having to re-mix individual batches of paint, this siphon fed gun can be easily filled with as much paint as required from a single batch, ensuring even and consistent colour through the job. The gun included in this package has a large trigger, integrated hanging hook, and comes fitted with a 2.0mm nozzle. Due to the calibre of this painting equipment, a minimum air supply of 150 Litres per minute is required for use, and a belt driven compressor with a large tank is strongly recommended.

got it on half price special, saved me time by spray painting my roof but a basic information sheet on how to operate spray gun would have made it more user friendly, getting paint viscosity and gun settings right took some time.Overall a good piece for $ paid at half price.

Fantastic sprayer, I wish I had this years ago. Take your time to set it up and adjust your gun and away you go. I have painted my shed and fence in no time and it looks great.

The item is good quality but the paint hoses are crap and continue to split and had to make up my own paint hose from reinforced tubing and fit good quality fittings and clamps,
When I got the first spray gun, it was already opened and used (actually had rust on it), so I had to go back and return it and they kindly gave me another one. The reason for the low rating is that this thing is OLD, like so old all the screws are insanely difficult to undo. I needed to remove the pressure gauge and reposition it for my use and I had to use a spanner and hammer to untighten it, not only did it take an hour but it actually heavily damaged the pressure gauge from all the vibration, so I had to buy a new gauge anyway. The worst part about this spray gun tank is that it does not seal properly. Out of the box, it was losing like 5 PSI every 10 seconds, I had to undo every single bolt and apply threaded tape to fix this issue. The worst part about this spray gun tank is that it does not seal properly. Out of the box, it was losing like 5 PSI every 10 seconds, I had to undo every single bolt and apply threaded tape to fix this issue. One of them, no matter how much threaded tape I used, it would still leak so I need to buy thread sealant to seal it. After all the hastle, it is able to withstand 50 psi for 12 hours while only losing 2 psi in the process, which is much more tolerable. However it should be losing none in the first place, but I'm quite tired of tinkering with this thing. Quite disappointed with this product, was very much NOT ready out of the box.
This product performs well but as someone else noted, the safety release is not at the correct PSI, mine will kick in at 43PSI when it should be able to handle 50PSI (as it states) I also repurposed this a pressure pot for resin casting, make sure you use loctite or at least 8 layers of PTFE tape on all fittings
This item is awesome - I don't use it for painting, but I modify the tank to suit resin pressure casting. I'm sure the warranty is great on this item and works well for intended uses - but that doesn't matter to me since I void it within 5 minutes of getting it home. Internal steel siphon tube is easy to saw off with a hack saw and tank can happily sit at 75psi over night with no issues. Recommend a liquid thread seal on all threads to make this bad boy air tight.
This is my second unit and only updated as 1st one was a bit tired after having painted 4 holiday homes inside and out (incl. roof, carport, etc.). Works a treat coupled with a ducted extraction fan to keep the air relatively clear.Worth noting that says needs 150l/min free air but have found works well with the Blackridge upright rated at 130l/min.Setup is the paint pot with a 5L bucket inside (makes clean-up easier), the Blackridge Upright and a 10m, 9.5mm air hose (need this for the air volume).Last job painted ceilings and walls of 2 bedrooms, lounge, dining & kitchen in about 1 hr. Took 1.5 days to mask off/drop sheet everything, then 3 coats in a day and the whole place was done. Let it settle overnight and ready to remove drop sheets and put furniture back ... MoreThis is my second unit and only updated as 1st one was a bit tired after having painted 4 holiday homes inside and out (incl. roof, carport, etc.). Build construction overall is decent. But as other reviews have indicated, the safety release valve can be an issue. Tank is supposed to have a working pressure of 30-50psi, mine blows at 32psi rendering it useless for my needs.
sprayed a 11.3x6.4 shed in a morning with 2 coats. 3m leads could do with being longer. had to constantly move the pot.
