I love bob' s red mill products. I always buy oat meal this beans! I have regular one and extra thick too. It has more texture than regular but others same! I actually baked some cookies with extra thick but didn't work maybe needed more liquid inside. It was like a granola.. I think need extra liquid so that the oat absorbe liquid to turn moist! Anyway I enjoyed my oats!!My favorite is follow the basic recipe back of package then add cinnamon, banana or apple ground flaxseed! I do not put any syrup or sweet. Banana has natural sugar so it is still good! Also bake some breakfast casserol which is super healthy!I highly recommend this brand of oats.

I prefer my oats soaked overnight and was worried this version may be too thick for it, but I liked it nevertheless. I eat a lot of oats, so this bag lasts me about 4 servings. I prefer to buy my oats in larger quantities, so I order this when I either run out of my regular stock or want some variety. Another favorite way to use this is in cookies - just blend the oats into a flour in a regular blender, add banana and bake.

What did I like? how about Everything! the shipping, packaging and items were all perfect. As long as Walmart has this item in stock for a good price, ill keep coming back for more. To review the product itself, taste great but I think Quaker has the better rolled oats and Bob's has the better steel cut option but I like to keep both in the house just to mix it up.
I make my own granola and these thick cut rolled oats are the best oats I've tried. I tried the Simple Truth rolled oats and they were terrible. The oats were so small and there was a lot of crumbly stuff. It made terrible granola. These thick cut oats are perfect.Recipe: Oil a roasting pan. Add 4 cups rolled oats, 1.5 cups unsweetened coconut flakes, 1.5 cups chopped pecans or walnuts. Mix 1/2 cup honey with 1 tbsp Avocado oil. Pour over oat mixture and stir to distribute. Bake at 225° until oats start to brown, stirring every 15 minutes. Add raisins to each serving. The raisins stay softer if you add them to your bowl, not to the whole batch of granola. Enjoy!
Love Bob’s Red Mill products and this one doesn’t disappoint. We make both hot oatmeal and cold overnight oats and they come out perfect. We prefer the regular organic rolled oats to the thick but buy this one when the other is out of stock or double the price as the other (it’s been fluctuating)
Oats are one of the foods that hold onto a lot of pesticides. They are mostly GMOS. These are ORGANIC, a great price and flavorful! So happy I found this brand. No pesticides and its not genetically modified! THANKS!
This is my favorite oatmeal. The extra thick organic oats really stick with and keep me satisfied longer. They are so yummy that I often grab a little handful of uncooked dry oats and pop them in my mouth for a gnosh while I am waiting for my breakfast oats to finish cooking. they also make very good substantial cookies! And such a good price at Wal-Mart online. I order 5 bags at a time. Quick shipping. I ordered on Monday and they were delivered to my door Wednesday.
When I open the box which these oatmeal in smelled very strong laundry detergent even though only these oatmeal packages in the box. There were some wet spots smelled laundry detergent inside the box. And all 4 packages of the oatmeal smelled laundry detergent. The oatmeal package was plastic so I rinsed these packages and they were very soapy. The smell didn’t go away after washing the packages so I replaced the contaminated package with ziplock.Hope they will be more careful when they’re packing items!! It’s not fun to receive the damaged items!
These rolled oats are an amazing breakfast! They have just the right texture and taste amazing! Plus the health benefits of oatmeal are that it is low in calories and great for the heart. The resealable package huge plus in maintaing its freshness.
