Great little gadget. Grinds well. Good features. I read some other reviews online and lots of people have had problems with the tiny little plastic lugs breaking. I am an engineer. Bought it anyway. On close inspection, clearly it is a little fragile. But hoping that if I treat it with loving care it will last a long time.

The Bonum grinder is the best I’ve ever used. It is very fast and yet fairly quiet. I use it every day and I’m very pleased with it. I would certainly recommend it to other coffee enthusiasts.

Having bought one of these grinders my self last year, I bought this one for my son as we've been very happy with ours. We use it a few times every day and we've had no problems with it at all. It's easy to clean and put back together. I love being able to grind fresh coffee beans before making coffee in our expresso machine. The only negative I have is that it would be great if the finest grind was a little finer. It's still a touch too coarse for our expresso machine. However, I'm happy to recommend this to anyone who wants an affordable conical burr grinder. It's worth every penny.

Easy to use and gets grind to my liking.Slightly noisy when grinding but that is as expected I guess.Overall very satisfying.
Works perfectly. Grind is nice and fine for the espresso machine. The way the bottom jar seals is brilliant, so the extra ground coffee can sit there until the next grinding.
Have been using this grinder for a few months now & am very happy with it's performance. Cleaning & operation is easy giving me freshly ground beans in seconds. I only wish the reservoir wasn't clear so that I could store beans in it without them deteriorating from light.
Can’t live without my Bodum Bistro Burr coffee grinder! There’s nothing I don’t like about it. It’s versatile, grinds the beans perfectly every time, and it’s a very sturdy little machine. If fresh daily coffee is important to you, this machine will deliver in spades!
This replaces a Cuisinart burr grinder that has been cheapened to the point of absurdity. This Bodum unit works very well but time is the critical issue and we'll see. The feature set is practical and seems to grind very well. The glass grounds jar is nice but suffers from static issues from the grind and some of the grind makes it's way outside.....what are you gonna do? it's a coffee grinder ! Overall this thing is great so far !
Once I got the hang of it, its a little beauty. On my bench top, routine is press button, 20 seconds and enough coffee for 2 of us. (We like strong coffee). Any family members same routine. Press button 20 sec and their coffee is fresh ground. Whats not to like.
Summary: The burrs (the coffee grinding teeth) and the overall design of the grinder are good. However, everything is let down by cheap plastic internals that are not made to last. For 2 years daily use. (With very dry coffee beans it's good for 2 years though.) As a German engineer I am upset how the saving of couple $ renders the entire machine to be much less as it could be... and contributes to landfill. Details: I had this grinder for 2 years now. It was nice, but started to struggle to grind, later even without coffee in it. I took it apart to have a look. The motor without gears was fine. But the geometry, sizing and material choice of that gear are not suitable that sort of loading in my opinion. I greased up everything well and put it back together. The ... The grinder worked well for another 4 months and then it started to struggle again and completely refused to grind coffee today. It will go to the landfill now.

Bodum: Bistro Electric Burr Coffee Grinder - Black
BISTRO is continuously adjustable – twisting the upper bean container determines how finely ground the beans will be. But there’s more to it than that. Most coffee grinders use plastic containers to receive the ground coffee but plastic and ground coffee don’t go together well – the powder gets statically charged and spills all over the place. The new BISTRO comes with a borosilicate glass container to catch the ground coffee as glass is inherentlystatic-free. This and the tight plastic/rubber lid make for an excellent, no-spill coffee grinder. The borosilicate glass container comes with a silicone band to make it slip-proof, an especially important feature when touched with wet hands.
