This is great for frothing milk but fell a little short on mixing up my hot cocoa. I could that it mixed the liquid but the powder just kind of sat on top and didn’t actually get mixed in very well. I am going to play with it a bit more to see if I’m doing something wrong. As for frothing milk, I’m impressed it did a great job creating a nice thick foam and heating it to the perfect temp. It doesn’t take long at all and is relatively quiet. The design is nice and sleek and fits with my coffee bar area well. The one button for three functions is nice and not too much to remember. It’s also, very easy to clean. I’m very happy with this product!

I wanted to love this for hot chocolate but I do not. The concept and structure of the unit would be perfect. The issue is it doesn’t warm near enough it is luke warm at best and you can’t try to reheat it because the unit just shuts off. It doesn’t mix the hot chocolate which wouldn’t be a problem by just adding to the cup after but it doesn’t get warm enough. I am not the type that likes to have piping hot drinks but this is even too cold for me. If you could run the cycle twice it may be the right temperature but it doesnt allow for that.

We purchased this model to replace our basic Bodum Electric Milk Frother that finally died. The design is nice but there are 2 issues I’d love to get feedback on. These are 2 things that don’t seem right.Although the end product is great, it consistently takes nearly 4:30 min to finish the which our previous model would consistently finish in 1:15 min. So to make our two lattes in the morning it takes 10 min till we can sit down together?Also filling the milk anywhere over half way between the top 2 fill lines often causes the milk to overflow during the process. This forces you to not be able to use its “full capacity”.
This frother has become my new obsession. I use almond milk which is known for not being very frothy, however if you use the spring attachment (meant only for cold frothing), it froths up beautifully. Oat milk is even silkier. I can imagine regular milk comes out perfect every time.I love this frother because I can use it to make turmeric lattes and hot chocolate, as well as regular hot froth and cold foam. It’s very simple to clean and to use, and has been consistent each time I’ve used it.

This isn’t a bad frother, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best. On the positive I like how you can take the upper part off. I thinks this makes for easy cleaning without fear of damaging the machine. The machine is easy to use, there’s one button and three settings to choose from. The frother is kind of loud and takes longer to froth compared to my other machine. There are three settings: heat/froth, hot chocolate, and a cold froth. I didn’t notice a difference between the hot chocolate mode verses the hot/froth mode.

Everything I wanted in a frother - heats Milk hotter than any previous fro they 2 main reason I bought this - DISHWASHER SAFE!! What? I love this milk frother !! I am so happy I bought it instead of a different K or N brand one. My mom has the N brand frother, and it does not come close to this one. The froth is beautiful and warm. Doesn’t scald on the bottom. Multiple settings for hot froth, cold froth, hot chocolate, and warm milk. It also stays warm once it it done, so i can use it for multiple drinks if I don’t use it all at first. My kids love the warm froth and hot chocolate.
I love this electric milk frother! We love making coffee drinks at home and usually use a small handheld frother. This Bodum Barista is amazing compared to what we've been using. We've frothed up oak milk and almond milk and it works great. Its so cool how it heats up! We've made hot chocolate with packets and milk and it turns out perfect. I like that the top is dishwasher safe and it's easy to clean.
