I actually own the black and silver version of this. It’s adorable and makes just enough coffee for a single serving. There are a lot of little parts but if you keep them mostly together (unscrew to loosen for cleaning) it’s fine. This French press is able to yield a really dense, rich, full flavored cup of coffee with the coffee oils evident at the end of your mug. Just divine. I love my little Bodum!

I am very pleased with this coffee maker, as it is just the right size for me, and I still have an older larger one if I have visitors. It is neat and easy to clean, and makes better coffee simply, much better than instant. The box the coffee maker arrived in was slightly damaged and the price consequently reduced. I think these coffee makers have been returned because the description says they make 3 cups, and doesn't explain that it means 3 Espresso cups, not Americano. It actually makes a good-size mug of ordinary coffee.

This product worked fine for almost a year. After that, the class beaker broke after simply setting it down on the counter. The replacement beaker is $19.99, which is $5 more than the actual product itself. Warranty doesn't include glass. Also, this product was warped in the dishwasher after one wash. It was put in there by mistake but i didn't expect it to be ruined so easily. There are other French Presses that are built to last for a similar price.
As an avid coffee drinker. I'm done with automatic coffee makers. After getting this little GEM!!! on sale and couldnt wait for it to arrive. Which came in the prettiest teal blue color and it has changed my way of drinking coffee. Not only does it make a perfect cup of Joe but is also made of great quality. I'll be getting another for the office as well. This will make a great gift grab yours!!!
I bought a set of these taller glasses to go with a previously purchased set of the shorter style, along with another set as a gift. They have a lovely feel in the hand and on the mouth, and are in daily use for both hot and cold drinks. They are stronger than they look and I have even used them with an Aeropress many times. The shorter glasses are perfect for a tea or cappuccino, whilst the taller are great for iced coffee or just about everything else. A quality product that is often complimented by guests.
It is functional and beautiful. You can piece it apart so that it is easy to wash. I am not sure you can put it in the dishwasher. I don't have a dishwasher so I can't use it lol. The ONLY issue I have is that because you can piece it apart the glass container you put the coffee slides out really easily, REALLY EASILY so you have to be careful when you take it out to wash it or even to pour that it doesn't slide. I am not sue how to keep the coffee hot for long, other than transfer to a carafe but that is an environmental issue and not the pot.
I have always bought Bodum Caffetieras. Sadly, they now make them as THIN as possible - very dangerous fragile glass (will break easily)...with nasty sharp finishes (on extra thin plunger) and x2 'crack' like notches in the glass near the pouring spout...where it was probably held in the machinery. NOT AT ALL IMPRESSED...will in future look at different makes. Very disappointed.
