HG shampoo for thinning hair with rosemary - HG will boost hydration while fighting signs of thinning, shedding and hair loss. Lightweight but seriously hydrating, our aloe-based, silicone-free HG conditioner will boost hydration while fighting signs of thinning, shedding and hair loss. Naturally powered by our HG signature blend of rosemary, saw palmetto, nettle leaf and horsetail extracts to weightlessly stimulate the scalp and strands for longer, stronger, healthier hair. Shake before use to blend, as natural products can settle. Use 1-3 pumps, emulsify in hands to get a nice lather, then massage into hair and rinse. Use as often as needed. Avoid eyes and discontinue use if you notice any irritation. Start with 1 pump for fine/short hair, and up to 3 pumps for long/thick hair. You may notice a short period where hair feels oilier – this is totally normal with low lather shampoos. It’s part of the detox process as you move from chemical to natural, silicone and sulphate-free formulas.

I bought this shampoo as part of an HG set but wanted to leave my review here. This is my first time trying out this shampoo so I can't say as to whether there is a formula change, but I initially did not like it at all. My hair felt so greasy within just 3 hours of using it and it would make my hair feel very oily like I skipped two washes. However, I've basically eliminated this issue completely by just scrubbing my scalp with a scalp scrubber and then letting the shampoo sit in my hair for a few minutes while I wash the rest of my body. I experience zero greasiness with this method. I would say my results feel pretty similar to regular shampoo however. I also am not sure that I have any actual hair growth due to this product. My hair doesn't look like it's growing any more or any faster than usual. But on the bright side, I don't think this is causing my hair to fall out either. I pretty much experience the same amount of hair loss as normal. My favorite thing about this shampoo is probably the minty smell which is super refreshing. I will continue to use it and see if I have significant hair growth after the 4~6mo mark. If there is no improvement, then I don't think this shampoo is worth the price at all.

I started using more of BondiBoost products, and so far I have not found one I don't like. Most all products I use now are BB. My favorites is this HG shampoo and conditioner, their heat protectant, their Rosemary dry shampoo, and the rapid repair masque. If you love your hair, you'll give this shampoo a try. My hair has been so soft, hydrated, and shiny...I don't foresee myself using another brand ever again.

What caught my eye was the first ingredent is aloe vera in most of their products. I used this once but noticed less fallout for once finally and was cleaner, softer, shinier, and more managable after first wash. It felt and looks nicer than before. I am seriously stunned and scared its too good to be true ..but it is true. Doesnt dry out my hair or scalp. Dont like peppermint makes me sick and it smells kind of like it but super light that it doesnt bother me and no it doesnt burn my scalp i got scared it would but its wonderful. The smell absolutley does NOT linger in their products, their stuff smells great but doesnt last ... MoreLove this brand after only one use(cant speak long term but will review in future) i am so stunned at how amazing bondi boost products are. Causes shedding, too harsh for fine hair
5 September 2024

I was really excited to try this product but I've been using this shampoo for a little over a week and I've decided to stop using it as it's caused a concerning amount of shedding. I have straight, fine dyed hair and wanted to add volume so this seemed like it would be a great fit. However, using it left my hair feeling brittle and dehydrated from the very first time I used it. I double shampoo my hair because it gets quite oily at the root and I've found that when using this my scalp is so dehydrated that it produced more oil and I needed to wash everyday. I'm also not a huge fan of the peppermint. With other shampoos I've tried that contain peppermint they've also caused some concerning shedding and have been overall very drying. I'm also not a huge fan of the peppermint. With other shampoos I've tried that contain peppermint they've also caused some concerning shedding and have been overall very drying. In my opinion this shampoo would be much better without it, just having rosemary as the featured scent. Some positives include that it suds up really well and is quite clarifying, it definitely leaves my hair feeling super clean and free of buildup. Additionally, I've found that using this shampoo made my hair feel more voluminous after drying. Overall I think that a product intended to help hair growth shouldn't cause it to break and/or fall out. I've seen suggestions that you need to use it longer than 6 weeks to see results but to me it's not worth the initial hair loss and rougher hair texture, even for a bit of a volume boost. I really like the concept of clean haircare, but ideally I want something a bit more gentle and nourishing. I was gifted this product to review by Bondi Boost,

Didn't help hair loss/thinning

I've re-purchased both shampoo and conditioner 3 times so it's safe to say my review is pretty valid. I know every product works differently for others, but I'm hoping this review will help those who can relate to my situation. I have hypothyroidism. My hair loss has been my number 1 insecurity and I've tried a lot of products to cater to the problem of hair loss. I've been on the hunt for something that can help regrow my once voluminous hair or stop the hair from falling. The Bondi Boost HG line claims to do both. Unfortunately, I've never noticed less hair falling or any regrowth after using the HG line for almost two years. If anything, the hair loss is still prominent. I've also used their intensive spray, which was useless. I hope this helps someone!

This truly is a good shampoo( been using it for over a year now) but it falls shy of being great. It makes my scalp feel fresh, healthy, and light. I also have the HG Conditioner, and when paired together, it feels great, flattening my hair a little bit, but still great. However, I haven't seen much difference in hair growth. As suggested, I actually use the "Holy Trinity" of the HG range: the shampoo, the spray, and the conditioner. The combination of these three products has noticeably improved the overall texture and health of my hair. My strands feel softer and more manageable, however there's definitely some frizz and minimal hair growth. Which I think is just the natural hair growing process. While being standalone, I don't know how much of a difference it ... MoreThis truly is a good shampoo( been using it for over a year now) but it falls shy of being great. I wanted to like this so bad

To give credit where credit is due, this product did drastically reduce my hair fall out when I showered. I noticed a lot of baby hairs growing in within about three weeks of starting use. However, as much as I wanted to like this product because it did what I wanted it to do, it didn't do the one thing that shampoos are supposed to do- actually clean my hair. Even if I wash my hair twice and made sure to thoroughly rinse out the conditioner, my hair would be greasy before the end of the day. I don't have a particularly oily scalp, and I have never been the type of person to have to wash my hair every day. I'm not too keen on the idea of getting out of the shower after wash day with dirty hair. For that reason, alone, I will not be repurchasing this product. Made me Avoid the Entire Brand
2 April 2024

In addition to being someone who avoids writing low reviews: I wanted to love this product. I have incredibly fine, red hair that, at the time of use, fell down to my lower back. It checked all my boxes: great ingredients, no harmful alcohols that would dry my hair, no solubles that build up on the scalp. But something was OFF about it, causing the following issues I had with the shampoo: (1) made my hair so tangled. No idea why it did this, but it got to the point where I dreaded applying it because of how it felt doing so. (2) Dried out my hair and made it incredibly oily (common for very fine hair so this is something I expect with most shampoos not targeted toward this hair type) but was something I still found strange following the fact I checked if the ... MoreIn addition to being someone who avoids writing low reviews: I wanted to love this product. And (3) didn't lather, which usually wouldn't be an issue but it caused my hair to never feel clean, I couldn't get in there enough to provide my scalp with exfoliation that most shampoos provide with a little more volume in the product. Imagine applying a tiny dot of regular shampoo to a full head of hair - it was like that, but I used several pumps. I am sure there were other qualms when I bought this that I am forgetting when I write this: because I write this at a point after using where I actively avoid the entire brand because of my experience with this product.

Works for me!

I have been using the HG Bondi Boost line for just over a year, to help with my fine and thinning hair. I began noticing a reduction in hair loss after using their products for about 2-3 months. It also does a great job at making my hair appear and feel more dense. I have tried several hair products to treat my thinning hair, Nioxin, Revita, and Aveda. Not to mention other hair loss solutions. When I discovered that this product contained Redensyl and Procapil I decided to give this product a try. I should note that Bondi Boost’s new labeling omits the names Redensyl and Procapil. But, if you were to look up the ingredients that make up Redensyl and Procapil you will find that they are still very much in these products. Take this review with a grain of salt given that it’s an objective opinion. However if you’ve exhausted several hair products and see no visible improvement. I recommend you give Bondi Boost’s HG line a try, you’ve got nothing to lose.
