This used to be my go to tan. I ran out & I decided to try out another brand (Loving Tan). I then ran out of that one and went back to this one again. WOW! I don’t know why I liked this before? It took me twice as long to apply, I am out of breath from trying to rub this in, & I honestly have no clue what the heck this is going to look like in the morning because it’s SO PATCHY LOOKING! And there isn’t anything you can do about it?! It’s quite literally stuck! I understand the “quick dry” sure that’s nice but I’d rather be a little sticky than to go through that again. I have been tanning for almost ten years so I know all the proper steps to prep & apply tan and this just ain’t it. I love this, it has a nice smell, not too overpowering and didn't transfer at all. I made sure to sleep on a dark blanket though. Regarding the color, I got so scared applying it. The color guide is so green! But have no worries, the next morning, after washing it off I was left with a beautiful deep olive tone. Like ultra dark! It looks really natural, the only thing that I regret was not using a mitt. I had some rubber gloves and I thought it was the same as using a mitt, but it wasn't. It was really hard rubbing it in, but even then the final result was just beautiful. It just proves how good this product is! So my advice is to always use a mitt, it just goes on smoother. I have been self tanning for years now & recently tried this tanner and I love it! As someone who also has gotten many spray tans I would say the drying process is very similar to that, in the sense that I do feel wet for a little while & the tan does look a little crazy until it settles a few hours later. As for the reviews saying they " look like shrek" I would suggest looking into different undertones.... This tanner does have a green undertone instead of an orange which I personally think looks more realistic and works well for me. This tan has lasted way longer than any other one I have tried! A plus is the smell, it definitely smells better than most tanners! Overall for me feeling sticky and looking a little crazy for a few hours is well worth the end result! ... So I have tried sooo many different self tanners now, so I have been through the STRUGGLE. I actually learned about this tanner from a coworker, and her tan was AMAZING. I ran out to Walgreens and I haven’t used another tanner since. This just goes on so well and the color payoff is gorgeous, you truly can’t beat it. The smell is amazing, but I feel like you do definitely start smelling like tanner towards the end of the wait time. My boyfriend does not hesitate to let me know, lol. But I usually sleep in this and wake up lookin TROPICAL. I am pretty fair and don’t get any orange cast at all, so it’s pale girl friendly. Highly recommend! :)
I'm very familiar with non-aerosol sunless tanners, in fact use them every day for past 10 years. I thought I would try this aerosol one. If I could give this a minus 10, I would. This product arrived to me today, though no box damage, and cap was on; mousse nozzle was haphazardly on product; manufacturer defect. Non-workable. I tried to get the nozzle on trying to balance it on, just so could see color, and bc I was trying to hold the nozzle on, it got all over my fingertips and nails and I worked the past hour trying to get the extreme brown stain off. Yuck!! This aerosol product either needs to be dumped by the manufacturer as a product OR manufacturing engineers need to rethink the aerosol top. Very disappointed and ;highly disgusted. This has to be returned.

Have plenty of photographs to show why it’s so dangerous.

You can't apply it and then use any other fragrances - the coconut smell will win hands down. And under the coconut smell is still the fake tan smell. The combination is so strong that I felt embarrassed going to the office as I could smell my legs through my trousers.I also bought the 100ml Bondi Sandi cream to take with me to apply while on holiday, and although that has a less overpowering smell, and didn't stain any toilet seats, it had zero effect on colouring my legs (I've written a review for that as well) even when applied twice in one day.I can't for the life of me think how this brand is getting all these rave reviews. However, having read through every review on the Boots site, I did spot a couple that are linked to reviews entered on the Bondi Sands site where although it shows 5 stars, if you read the text the comments are negative. Did the reviewed accidentally click the wrong star rating or... is something else going on?In summary, save your money and go to another brand. I'm headed back to L'Oreal I reckon.

So with my last happy experiences with BS I bought the new AERO foam range (light/medium, I have used darker shades with other products) when I squeezed the foam onto a mitt it came out pure green!! Not avocado green but GREEN. Now, I do know many tans are green based, but I have never seen product come out very very green. .....I looked on line for pics and the foam looked brownish? It is not on the cheaper side of things but I was still willing to roll the dice! This comes out as a thick foam - almost like a shaving cream. You cannot dilly dally after you start applying this as I found you really had to be quick to get it all rubbed in (1000000% using a mitt). One time I dabbed it on then took a second to remove my rings - and when I went to rub it around - it took some time to get it evened out. But if you are quick to spread around after applying - then it's fine! NOT going to lie - it scared me the first time I put it on because it goes on dark! Almost ... I freaked thinking I'd look like a brown oompa loompa the next day. BUT after I showered, I was like WOW - this is amazing! I had the most gorgeous natural looking tan! I have had my share of orange and streaky self tans - so when I saw this - I was SOLD! Even my trouble areas - hands and feet - looked great! I did use a brush (which I highly recommend) to apply to these tricky areas so there's no streaking or dark spots! I used just a bit of moisturizer on toes, bottom sides of feet, back of feet, in between fingers and it looked really good! Definitely exfoliate/shave 24 hours prior. I follow up every second day with the Bondi Self Tanning Milk which not only makes my skin super soft but also holds the tan for a full week!! Bottom line - it's not super cheap - a bit scary when applying - but totally worth it!
