I LOVE this product. I have darker skin which means a lot of people question why I like to tan. I feel like I used it to even out my skin tone and help during those colder winter months to provide me with a healthy glow. I have been using Bondi Sands since high school in my younger years. Even though I was using the traditional tan, I was still a big fan of it but struggled to have control over how dark it made me and with my sensitive skin I found it gave me dry patches. However with this one I don't feel dry which means I don't get dry patches, I get an even gorgeous coverage and its super simple to apply and is more forgiving! Would highly recommend this gradual tan or any others in the line!! I was gifted a product sample to trial and review.

Love love love this product! I have now tried all three versions – the tinted skin perfector, the skin illuminator and the skin firming – and would have to say this one is my favourite. It was the perfect choice to try first as I had no other tan on, so I could tell it gave me an instant tan that was a lovely subtle bronze (definitely no orange here!). I even gave some to my mum to try and she loved it as well – she mentioned that other instant tans have tended to make her freckles/sun spots look darker, but this one didn’t do that. I really love this product!! I absolutely love the thin consistency and that the lotion is coloured, these two elements combined to guarantee an even and flawless application. The tan itself is gorgeous and although its a gradual lotion you start off with a really beautiful colour and doesn't take weeks to show a tan. I like to use it in the mornings after my shower and let it fully dry before putting on clothes. I have not noticed any transfer onto clothes. I feel really confident and beautiful in this tan. The skin perfecter offers an immediate natural and dark glow. I didn’t notice any transfer onto my clothes though I wouldn’t use this as a bedtime tan as it would likely transfer onto sheets. The initial colour does fade in the shower leaving behind the light golden tan so this is best used right before you go out.The skin perfecter is perfect for a last minute night out or a beach trip when you want to be sun-kissed without having to wait for a tan to develop.I have also tried the other products in this gradual tanning line and have found they all produce a beautiful, light and natural tan that is buildable and fades evenly. I have used St Tropez Express for years and this was my first time using gradual tan. The guide colour is absolutely lovely and the colour is not in the slightest bit orange. It’s more of a chocolate brown. There is no streaking at all and I had no patches. Using the bondi sands mitt, you get about 4 full body applications which could be better. Perhaps it’s more using your hands but I always use a mitt for a better finish. I don’t think I will ever go back to using instant tan such as St tropez, this out performs anything else. I have very pale skin and always have so much trouble finding a gradual tanner that is a good colour and doesn't streak. This is the holy grail for me. I use it mainly just on my legs, and having a colour to it so you know where you are putting it is brilliant. It makes my legs look absolutely flawless and gives them an amazing colour and feel. When you shower, the main colour washes off but the gradual tan is still left and gives a subtle glow. It fades evenly which so many other makes don't. I'm super impressed and won't be using anything else. My only gripe is that the tube isn't that big. I'll keep repurchasing, but it would be great if they did a big bottle. It's a gradual tanner, so you are going to be using it really regularly.
I have used bondi sands for quite a while now but have never tried their gradual tanners! When I started using this product I immediately loved the warm chocolate color and how natural it ended up looking. It’s easy/fast to apply, although I will say you go through the bottle very quickly for the price! The only couple complaints I have about this product is that when I use it for my face, it ends up looking orange the next day and splotchy on the face even though I always apply evenly. Overall a great product, I just would recommend using a bondi face tanner for your face rather than this!
Can’t believe what an amazing product I have found! This gradual tanning lotion left me speechless from first application. Unfortunately my skin has not been itself lately due to early menopause. Nothing applied properly and I became sensitive to every tanning product I tried. WELL this lotion has changed that , it is a dream to apply, within seconds blotches and veins were blurred on my legs and 100% truth my skin hasn’t looked so flawless in months. It’s a beautiful peachy caramel colour aswell. It has gave me the boost I needed. Would seriously advise anyone out there to purchase this. I certainly won’t ever be without it. instant confidence boost! This tinted gradual tanning lotion provides a beautiful, subtle, natural like tan. It doesn’t take long to start seeing results. The love that it’s thin like consistency as it absorbs quickly into the skin, feeling hydrated and bronzy. Also has a slight coconut scent but very light. It’s a great summer scent. I’ve found that it worked best after a shower, on towel dried skin then reapplied every 2-3 days to maintain my bronzy tan. Doesn’t leave marks on clothes either. So big yay! Firstly I have never been a Bondi Sands fan, But when i saw this advertised i had to try it. I have been tanning for 10+ years but never found a good gradual tanner. This is amazing, within two applications i was the most beautiful colour and streak free. But make sure you DON'T use a tanning mitt. I did for the first application and it soaked into the mitt and hardly went on the skin. The smell is pretty gross but that goes away quickly and because the colour is so beautiful i am happy to overlook it. I also applied to my face and didn't have to apply makeup because it left my skin glowing. I honestly still can't believe how good this is. Just go out and buy it, you won't regret it.
