Bones Bearings Big Balls Reds
BIG BALLS, the newest member of our REDS family. BIG BALLS are engineered to roll faster and last longer by using 6, 17% larger balls, like our legendary Bones Super Swiss 6 bearings. These larger balls let you roll faster, and keep rolling right through dirt that slows smaller balls down. This makes BIG BALLS a great choice for skaters looking for more speed and longer life in their bearings. Skaters have made the Bones REDS family of bearings their 1 choice because of the consistent quality, speed, durability, and value.

After a bad set of Bronson G3 I switched to the Reds Big Balls. After squeezing in the wheels with spacers between the bearings, the wheels did not roll very smoothly, but after 1minute of riding on t board, all wheels turned quickly and quietly. I don't notice any difference in noise or speed after a few months of rolling, perfect. Meanwhile I ordered 3 more sets and put them on all my setups. The blue color is also really nice and you can easily see when there is dirt on it. For now I will keep riding Reds Big Balls, highly recommended.

The normal reds are a stapple in skating, but these take it a bit further. The bigger balls really make them feel faster and stronger. I don´t think you need to spend more money than what these cost, it will be propably overkill, and these are really good bang for bucks! Also first skate sesh the park was full of water and i was really anxious to skate the new setup and got it through a big puddle firts 15 mins of the sesh. Rushed home, dried them off with a hair blowdryer and they worked perfect ever after.

I used to always buy the reds untill I tried these. At first they will feel a little slower then reds but after about one hour skating them you will notice that they just feel smoother and faster as your regular Reds. I recommend these to everyone!

Have so far usually taken ceramic bearings. The Bronson have also not really kept forever. Therefore, back to cheaper bearings. Update regarding durability follows....
Designed to provide the performance of the expensive super swiss 6's but use more affordable materials and manufacturing. Having used REDS half my life, I think the other half is up to these lil guys.
Wow! Just, wow. These are essentially the Bones Super Swiss 6 ball bearings made in a different countries factory. Well worth saving $40 per pack. I'll probably skate these for the rest of my life. Super smooth with the shields on, and super fast/loud without shields. You decide which you prefer... Perfect bearing, especially considering the price!
Ive ridden for about 10 hours on these Big Balls bearings, and they roll smoothly and with little resistance. They come prelubricated, so theres no need to buy extra grease until you want to clean your bearings. No looseness or slop, very well put together.
I was sceptical at first about Bones Big Balls as I was specifically looking for Bones Reds at the time but there was none in stock wherever I looked. I didn't even realise Bones released a six ball Reds, made in china bearing. Took the plunge as they were on sale which made them only a few dollars more than Bones Reds (RRP $30) and it meant I could skate a new setup I had ordered. The blue shields are what makes the bearings stand out. On any other day, you mainly will see Bones Reds, red shields on my wheel's and for a good reason. However these Big Balls are interestingly different. I haven't found any comparison between these and the Bones Swiss Six Ball which is unfortunate as I was looking into making a purchase of the Swiss type to compare. Generally speaking, you will require more of a push at the start to get these bearings going but once they start picking up speed. It's decent. The reason behind this is because the 6 bearing balls vs the standard 7 balls. 6 balls = bigger sizes so it requires more force to bring them up to speed but maintaining and picking up speed? The bearings does most of the work. They are louder out of the packet compared to Bones Reds. If you keep them maintained by cleaning and lubing them, they stay pretty quiet. Neither of which really makes it that much of a night and day move though. I've recently serviced a set of 10 year old Bones Reds and they roll as they did before I serviced them. Just much quieter. Either way, these Big Balls are worth the purchase if you're looking for an alternative to Bones Reds. Big Balls are made in china in the same factory as Reds. So you know the quality is there for a Reds product. I suggest waiting to find them on special if you're curious but not willing to spend the extra dollars on them.
Super nice bearings. Smooth & fast. My last set is still going strong. When used correctly with spacers & maintained every few months, these big balls will roll for years. I prefer them to my Bronson G3s now.
These are good bearings. I'm on my second set but my first set are still going. Haven't rusted yet despite British weather (my super reds did rust with similar wear not sure why) spin well and despite dirt and occasional wet are still going strong.
