The kit arrived but was missing parts/screws to be able to secure it to the washing machine so we couldn’t use it . Appliances online were great however and collected the kit and refunded us the purchase price. In hindsight you don’t need the stacking kit as the dryer sits on top of the washing machine fine and does not move at all .

Challenging to install in tight spaces but once installed looked good and worked well. BUT water leaked onto the tray from washing on the second use and the tray wood bubbled. Now looks bad. Who builds a tray to be used in a wet laundry out of material that is adversely affected by moisture? Very disappointed. Brand new but looks well used after 2 uses.

I LOVE the concept but the execution not so much. Who thought press board for a shelf between a washer and dryer would last. Why did they not use the same material as a cutting board. This is not inexpensive for the customer but it was CHEAPly made.

Love the roll out shelf. Seems expensive for what it is but no regrets. Makes unloading dryer so easy. Good for folding. Good for ironing if you pop a towel over it. Good for pulling out and measuring powder and liquids for washer. Installed pretty simply - hubby did it with a friend. Just be aware you need to drill holes in your washer, so not amazing if you ever need to remove and have the top exposed and still looking nice!
A little but expensive. But i wanted the shelving stacker to match the Bosch washer and dryer perfectly. The install instructions from the stacking kit is pretty useless. Does not show the exact location as to where to tap the holes on the washer.Also, I didn’t realise that the top panel of the washer is compressed wood chip board. (I.e Ikea furniture wood). Just make sure you don’t strip the threads, otherwise the stacking kit is just a panel placed on top of the washer and will not clamp the dryer to the washer.
Currently not installed as I have little money but like quality items. Next purchase is the dryer to suit my washing machine thus the purchase, so excited.Having rid myself of all credit cards for a less stressful life I am so happy Appliances online has Afterpay. I bought this to stack my condenser dryer onto my washing machine. The delivery was fast, on time and accompanied by a bucket load of emails confirming everything.I unwrapped the kit and there were no instructions on how to install the product, which was a pretty big let down. We are time poor and not a handyman. A quick Google on my phone didn't show up any instructions straight away. My husband and I figured it out eventually by trial and error, but it meant we had to lift our super heavy dryer off and back up again which wasn't great for me physically.For those interested, once you screw the frame in place, you have to lengthen the legs on your dryer so they can slide into the frame. The Bosch 800 stackable washer and dryer is the best appliance purchase our family has ever made! The slide-out shelf is great for putting clothes coming out of the dryer. The units are quiet, efficient, use little detergent, and as a bonus, the dryer is ventless. Do not let the drum size on the washing machine fool you, there is no agitator to take up space like the top loaders; plenty of room for quilts and blankets. The stackable took the place of 2 - side-by-side top loaders, so now, we have lots of extra storage shelves and a place on the wall to hang brooms, mops, etc . . . ! My wife and I joke that we fight over who gets to do the laundry now! Funny! Such IS Life!

Since you're only drilling the timber top there should be no risk of drilling into wires as long as you don't drill deeper than 19mm.The dryer doesn't spin as violently as a washer and seems pretty stable.
The design is great. We got one for our first home where someone else installed it. The roller mechanism on this recent purchase seems even smoother. But maybe that’s because the composite board used for the tray does soak up water and flake, crack and warp, which might have resulted in the old one not gliding as nicely.So it is VERY IMPORTANT you do not let water sit on or by the edges of the tray. Pay attention when removing & cleaning the dryer condenser unit to put towels underneath it so that the condensate doesn’t make contact with exposed edges of tray.Also, it would be very helpful if you knew ahead of time that YOU MUST HAVE A DRILL/DRILL GUN. The specs show screws but I’d assumed the holes were predrilled. THEY ARE NOT.
