Bosch Unlimited 7 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, 2 Batteries, White, 1 Battery

The vacuum I always needed and wanted but didn't know existed. As someone who has had spinal surgery and has difficulty with mobility when it comes to vacuuming, the Bosch Unlimited 7 has become my favorite household item. With the special inbuilt availability of angling the vacuum to 45dg, cleaning under the couch, beds, tables etc is so easy and best of all, there is no reduction in the power/suction. The overall power is amazing and beats my Miele full vacuum. Having the two batteries is fantastic as you can easily interchange when the one in use is getting low. In saying this, I have only had to do this once and that was after 20 minutes of use, using combination eco and power boost functions. It could have probably gone longer but once it got to one bar, I decided to swap the batteries out, just in case. The only thing that could make this unit better, is if it had a larger bin capacity. It does fill up quite quickly, but it is so simple to empty, I could not lower the star rating just because of this. This is by far the best vacuum I have ever owned, large and small. Just cant fault it.

Boschtastically Easy to Use Cordless Vacuum Cleaner!

We are thoroughly enjoying our new Bosch Cordless Vacuum Cleaner with it's Unlimited range of uses for an easy lightweight clean, simple charge and thorough suction...It stores easily and to have the light up floor function whilst it is vacuuming, is an excellent feature and highlights the dust which you might not ordinarily see. The simplicity to clean our car interior was wonderful also. To have purchased this in the sale is an added bonus and our delivery service was efficient and on time too. Brilliant

After my Dyson stick vacuum cleaner stopped working I looked for a replacement and read good reviews of the Bosch cordless hand stick cleaner. The reviews didn't do it justice because it exceeds all expectations. The motor is far more powerful the the Dyson, the variable suction is great on a ridged carpet and cleaning out the dust container is easier and cleaner than the Dyson. It is a bit heavier than the Dyson but it's a lot cheaper and has a wider cleaning head. The ability to bend the stick to go under furniture or tables is a great advantage. I definitely recommend this cleaner.

Easy to use and effective product

I'm really pleased with this product; I have always hated hoovering but this product has made me a hoover convert! It was straightforward to put together and was fairly intuitive to use so I didn't have to rely on the instructions. To my surprise, I find the light useful to see what is being picked especially in the darker corners of the room and under furniture. I especially like the ease of unclipping and clipping the various parts of the hoover so I can swap easily between having it as an upright hoover and then unclipping it to use it as a hand held for things like skirting boards and narrow areas before returning it to an upright hoover. Once it has been initially charged, the charging time is not too long and the battery lasts for doing both upstairs and downstairs (but I think this may depend how thorough you like to be; I'm not as thorough as perhaps I should be!) It is missing a star because firstly the charging/holding station is a little flimsy (I think it would be fine if you fitted it onto a wall but not so good free standing) and one of the attachments is a rather bendy tube which I haven't worked out how it can be used effectively. But overall I would recommend the product.

When buying any item one consideration is where to store all the different parts. Firstly it needs to reside near a wall socket to make life easy when charging it. Next is where to store all the accesories. You do need these easily available otherwise you will not use them, which would be a shame since, I guess, someone has spent hours deciding what to sell with the vacuum. Effective, very lightweight vacuum

As I have arthritis in my hands & back I needed to look for a very effective, lightweight vacuum cleaner.(I'd previously had a Bosch Athlet stick vacuum that I was very pleased with but after 6 years hard use the battery stopped re-charging.)Yes, it was a bit fiddly to put together with weak hand and wrists but it feels a very sturdy product whilst being lightweight.Be warned: it is not self-supporting if need to stop using it mid task. Game-changer

This is a fantastic piece of kit, a real game changer for someone who does not enjoy housework! It is really easy to handle, light and has every conceivable attachment you might need. I especially like the bendy nozzle, which can get round the back of the woodburner (when it's cold, obviously) and clean out the cobwebs. The amount of dust that come out of rugs is amazing and it's so easy to empty and clean the filter. A very, very reasonable price for a well-made, efficient and simple piece of engineering. I love it!

Impressive vacuum cleaner

I used to have a Dyson 7 vac, and I was satisfied with it until it broke down, we decided to purchase the Bosch unlimited 7, the first thing was the ease of use, and the impressive run time 40 mins compared to the Dyson 20 min.We now clean whole house with one charge. John Lewis dispatching used used items AGAIN!

The item arrived sealed with parcel tape rather than the clear tape you would expect, it had obviously been opened by someone else and returned they even left a roll of blue insulation tape in the box. This was the second used item I had been dispatched by John Lewis in the last month, the other being a picture that they dispatched without a box of bubble wrap hence it arrived destroyed. I just couldn't be bothered taking the vacuum back to the store again to receive the same blah, blah excuses... as a lot of other people are doing you have to vote with your feet and take your business elsewhere....the item itself is very solid, as looks very swish.. I haven't used it yet... just hope the battery isn't faulty

Works well and is generally well-designed

This machine is well designed both aesthetically and functionally. Occasionally, the start switch fails to operate: perhaps ours is slightly faulty? It always works at the second attempt. The different settings, Eco, Turbo and Auto are all useful. The lights on the front of the main beater-suction unit are useful: one misses them when using the other attachments, such as the nozzles that are likely to be used in dark corners. Making the long narrow nozzle flexible is definitely a good idea. The battery life is good. If the filter needs cleaning, the light on the machine turns red (and won't stop until the problem is fixed), which is slightly alarming at first but not a problem once dealt with.
