Great Soundbar and it works with the Wireless Bose 500 subwoofer and the Wireless Surround speakers. I don't think the Atmos aspect is really noticeable but that's probably because of its size. I'm sure the Ultra models have better speaker arrays. Bought this for Mom because using an AVR was too complicated for her. This is the perfect solution since it uses the HDMI eArc channel. No need to adjust the input on an AVR or try to figure out what sound setting to use. Easy Setup through the app.

I purchased this soundbar specifically because it can be linked to our small Soundlink Flex speaker. It has excellent sound, significantly better than the Bose Soundbar Solo 2 I had purchased prior (and returned since it could not be linked to the Flex.). Richer sound, nice bass, etc. very happy I bought it.
I had an old Bose soundlink 300 with a sub woofer I loved it, and never thought about replacing it. Then came the divorce settlement, and there went my soundlink 300. I replaced it with a refurbished. Bose Smart Soundbar 550 (its all i could afford) Can't afford the sub woofer. It blew me away. Huge difference. The 300 has the sound coming at you, but the 550 has sound coming from everywhere in the room. It surroundes you, it's balanced and the sound is fantastic........Now I'm glad I'm divorced!!!!
I like the sound of this speaker , the sound bar. Placement with the tv is the problem thus far.
The Bose Soundbar has excellent sound. I was easy to install. I would buy again.
