I had these years ago and had for about 4-5 years before replacing with buds. The battery life was fantastic. I enjoyed the sound and soft cups that sat firm yet gently around my ears. The only issue I had was with the cups needing replacements often. During the time I owned these I had to purchase replacements twice and the material on the headband piece peeled so badly and it couldn't be replaced. Other than the decline in aesthetic appeal these were great headphones but my when I needed to replace them I didn't have budget so went with some JBL buds instead that were on sale and matched the shape I like (no mushroom tip)

These headphones are terrible for the price. Do not buy them. 1. The band is huge. My head is an average size but they are constantly slipping down whenever the wind blows. You basically can only use them while stationary at a desk, so I thought I would use them for work... 2. I can't actually use them for work because of the horrendous, defective microphone. It amplifies any ambient noise, no matter how quiet, to the sound of a scream. My boyfriend turned on the kitchen sink across the room from me while I was on a call today and the co-worker I was calling yelled from the surprise, as it sounded like I was being blasted with water. They're that bad. And Bose has zero intention of fixing this issue per their website. 3. Finally, and worst of all in my opinion, the ... MoreThese headphones are terrible for the price. I had one of the earlier models, which is why I decided to upgrade to these when those eventually wore out. The noise cancellation in these is much worse and is essentially non-existent without music playing. It's almost as if there is no active noice cancellation at all, despite the noise cancellation being turned up to the highest setting via the stupidly unhelpful Bose app. These are trash. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone who didn't have an enormous head or live in a silent monastery.

Product exactly as described. The audio letting you know how much life is left on the battery is great! No more wondering how low it is when using throughout the week. Connection to phone and other Bluetooth devices is flawless. Ear piece is comfortable and the sound, wow, the sound! The sound is exactly what you would expect of a Bose, flawless, clear and dynamic! Thus far, the purchase is worth every penny. Very good!

Received these for a gift and I love them! They stay charged for a long time and are very comfortable. They fold neatly into their case for easy transport without damaging them. I love that I can use the noise canceling setting if I want to block out the world or turn it off if I need to be somewhat aware of what is going on around me. They also have great range. I can walk all over my house away from the source and do not drop the connection.
Great Overall These headphones are amazing. The sound quality is amazing, the comfort is top-tier, and the noise cancellation is ridiculously good. Pass through works very well too. They have a very nice finish, with a sturdy frame that is quite difficult to scratch or mess up unless you really try to. It has a very futuristic and nice design, but it also makes them very comfortable. I am always amazed with the noise cancellation on these headphones. A friend of mine recently got the Sony WH1000XM5s, and honestly I do think these are better. These have better noise cancelling capabilities and better bass. And I think the overall sound quality between those 2 headsets are comparable and very similar. I think that these are the best all around headphones on the ... MoreGreat Overall These headphones are amazing. The only thing I don’t really like about these are the clenching force. When you first get these headphones, the clenching force is quite tight, but loosens up overtime. I wish they were a little bit more loose around my ears, but I am still able to wear them for hours on end comfortably and it doesn’t bother me. I also find the earcups to be quite small, but my ears still fit well around them. There is a lot more to these headphones, so I would recommend watching a couple YouTube videos for a comprehensive analysis on the specifications on these headphones. Overall: 10/10
Bose is unmatched at their price-point. Sound quality, durability, build quality, and innovation with each new gen of product are best-in-class. Battery life with Bluetooth and wireless connectivity options are supreme, though color options have always been a little meh lol. Still, products are top-tier, and ease-of-use with all consumer audio devices are easily just #1. Product and technical support (and all customer service areas) are established as the absolute friendliest and most helpful in the audio industry. Whatever the issue, they’ll fix it or make it right. You really can’t go wrong as a customer of theirs.
I started a new job 3 years ago in an open desk space, so I needed a nice headset to drown out the office ambience. I went with the Bose SoundLink headphones, and was loving them! Sound quality is great, and they're incredibly comfy!I'm stuck in meetings most of the day, so I'd say I was using these headphone on average 1-2 hours a day, and they stayed in the office at my desk. I didn't put them in bags or take them outside anywhere. I didn't put them in bags or take them outside anywhere. I mention this to give you an idea of how often I used them in order to talk about the durability of these headphones...About 4 months after I started using these headphones, the supple material on top started to peel little by little. Eventually it got so annoying since it was flaking and getting in my black hair that I just went ahead and forcefully rubbed it all off to expose cloth material underneath. Even though I liked the color and look of this material, I'm definitely more concerned with function over appearance, and as long as there were no other issue, I could live with this material gone. Now, fast forward to about 2 years of owning this product, and now the material covering the earpiece padding started to wear away. Not much I can do here... it's not similar to the other material, I can't rub it all off... but oh well. But as the days passed, more and more started to give away, and at this point some of the seam covering the foam of one of the earpiece padding has begun to come undone, exposing the foam material underneath. At this point, the headset is nearing its end, which is an absolute shame, especially for the price.
I bought these headphones as a birthday pressie for ME(! Lol), and to replace my previous Bose AE2s, as the plug-in Bluetooth module broke after a few months, and the replacement module was way too costly. Unfortunately, my husband had the same issue with his identical set. We’ve tried and tested several alternative headphones over the last few years, but still love the quality sound and comfort of Bose’s over-ear model. Happily the upgrade incorporates a built-in module now, which is a much better design. Of course you can still by-pass this with the cable supplied, if you need to, I’ve connected several devices to the headphones and had no issues. I do find the range a bit limited if the device I’m using is in the house, so I tend to either keep it with me, or ... MoreI bought these headphones as a birthday pressie for ME(! I do find the range a bit limited if the device I’m using is in the house, so I tend to either keep it with me, or stay in close proximity. I’ve made and answered several calls using the side control button, and find this super easy. I’m loving the colour (white) and matching zippy case too! In fact I’m so impressed with these headphones that I’ll be looking to get another set (probably in black) for my husband … if he’s good! Lol
I bought these headphones and enjoyed them for a few months with moderate use before the issues started, (used approximately four times a month). The leather coating on the headphone band started to peel off like crazy, it was more than 75% flaked off, ruining the entire look of the headphones. When I contacted Bose they said it was because the headphones can't be stored in the case provided because the condensation makes the leather flake off. They offered to replace the headphones at no cost which I appreciated.Flash forward another few months and the same thing started happening again, this time the headphones were not stored in their case at all. I contacted Bose again and they said they already replaced the headphones once and that's that. I contacted Bose again and they said they already replaced the headphones once and that's that. At this point the leather on the headband is around 85% flaked off. This is a very common problem with these headphones, and if you go to their social media sites you will see tons of complaints about their horrible customer service regarding defective products. So basically they keep selling a defective product and expect people to buy new headphones every few months because these only last a short while before starting to break down.Based on their customer service/defective products I do not recommend these headphones, they are also uncomfortable if worn longer than an hour.
The time came where I couldn't last any longer working from home during this stay at home order without having a pair of quality headphones to use for meetings/conference calls. My old QC35s are still at the office and no one is able to go in so I decided to look for another pair of headphones that were specifically rated for good mic/audio quality for conference calls. In comes the SoundLink lls with great ratings across multiple sites, looks super promising, and for a great price! I placed my order. These headphones are a complete joke of a product and a total waste of my time, money, and stress over my coworkers and managers unable to hear me during calls. I though maybe I was doing something wrong and I needed to enable the mic to work. After numerous different tested devices I have NOT ONCE been able to get the mic to work on these. It is incredibly infuriating because that's the ONLY reason I bought these. Also, when I first touched and felt these headphones they feel like the knock off headphones that places like '5 Below' or 'Wish' would sell that are trying to mimic the real deal. They are flimsy with a cheap plastic as their shell. The white ones also are extremely sensitive to dust, dirt, touching of any kind. After the first day of me handling them only a couple times (with clean hands) and with them sitting on my desk they had a disgusting grey splotchiness on the outside of the 2 ear pieces.I will obviously will be returning these and this has unfortunately ruined me as a Bose fan.I hope someone reads this who was in the same position I was and this helps you decide to PASS on this product.
