I love my Bose headphones. I have small ears so even though they are technically on ear, they’re pretty much over ear for me and I have no issues with comfort. The quality is great and there’s also an app you can download to connect devices on your phone. I can connect to my phone and laptop at the same time. The battery life is nice as well. I wouldn’t recommend wearing these to the gym since the ear cuffs get sweaty.

Pretty good for quiet, and listening to music. I got these for my husband to upgrade from his last pair. He likes to play fm/am radio or listen to music through Bluetooth. These are nice for that. The sound is really good, everything sounds great. Noise cancellation is good too.

Comfort: These are way more comfortable than I anticipated them being. I have very narrow ear canals, so even the smallest in-ear headphones make my ears hurt after about 45 minutes. I travel a lot, so I need more than 45 minutes of comfort. So far, the longest I've worn these is just shy of 8 hours, and my ears felt fine once I took them off. I have fairly large ears, and the pads don't sit on my ears at all, and even the spots that make contact during wear don't get irritated. The band does leave an impression on the top of my head (I keep my head shaved/close to shaved), but that must be inevitable because I don't notice the weight of these on my head. Better than my very expensive hearing aids!
29 June 2021

I love my Bose Hearphones. My cat chewed the earphone off my first pair so this is a replacement. I have $4000 hearing aids that don't work as well or have as good sound. This device is especially good in situations where there is a lot of background noise and it is hard to hear conversations. You can set the device to cut out background noise and focuses on conversations in a variety of ways. I was terribly dismayed to see that Bose has discontinued this item. The sound quality of TV and music is excellent. You can set the device either with the controls on the device or on an iphone app. Love this product. I might buy another one so if I break this one I will have a spare. I do intend to make sure it is not accessible to the furry predator in the house.

Bluetooth stopped working second time powering on
20 March 2020

The second time I connected them to my phone (after giving them a full charge) the blue tooth went off after two minutes and I haven't been able to turn them back on wirelessly. They were on charge for 3 hours and still nothing. I followed steps online to try to reset them, and the first thing I heard through the headphones since they stopped working with Bluetooth was that my device list had been cleared successfully, but after that I tried powering them on without a cable and there was complete silence. I must have gotten a defective pair because there is no way these things are so hard to use. The manual is absolutely useless, it basically says "off, on, Bluetooth, and listen to music" in about 20 different languages but no troubleshooting page. Utterly disappointed and feel like crying, as I've wanted a pair of wireless Bose headphones for ages and when I finally have enough to buy a pair they are my worst nightmare. Also tried to charge my order immediately after placing it to a more expensive model and they wouldn't let me, so perhaps they sent a defective pair on purpose. But the parcel came with no free return postage as promised.

Bose Hear phone - Pros and Cons
22 April 2020

1.I feel the whole design is a bit too chunky. Should consider redesigning to make it a lot slimmer. 2.The lines connecting to the earbuds instead of a rather thick black wire, should consider using a thinner type and a color similar the the skin color(less obtrusive). 3. The controls on the line connecting to the right earbud is rather difficult use. It would be a lot better if it is mounted on a line leading down to the chest level. 4. Also, like the Resound ear aid I was using before, instead of having to use the cellphone to adjust the volume and directivity functionalities, consider designing a small remote control device for this use. 5. The "neck loop" tends to "slip around" the neck every so often, and have to be readjusted. Maybe consider incorporating a ... More1.I feel the whole design is a bit too chunky. Maybe consider incorporating a couple of tiny clips which one can use to clip on to the collar to prevent it from slipping around. 6. Finally, would be wonderful if the battery capacity could be increased to allow on a single charge for a say 12 hour or more streaming use.

Disappointed

These headphones arrived today and I was keen to put them through their paces thanks to all the great reviews they've received. To put it simply though, while they sounded great they did not meet my expectations. Here's why...* My primary 'use case' is to have these connected to my PC and phone at the same time, doing calls on both. On my first attempt to do this, instead of merely hearing a notification in the background when a reminder on my PC went off while I was on the phone, my connection went silent for a couple of seconds. This is obviously a problem when trying to talk to someone and you only get bits of the conversation because your PC keeps interrupting you. Even when I was on a PC call and only connected to my PC, the notifications caused silence on my calls. So now I'm using a wired connection to my PC instead of Bluetooth as that's where I do most of my calls (via Skype).* Later on in the day I was on another call, still wired to my PC to avoid issues. During the call the feedback I got was that I sounded like I was in a tunnel, which I wasn't :-(This might be the headphones for you if you're interested in sound quality, but they have not met my expectations. Due to the problems I'm having with a couple of seconds of silence when there's a notification I can't use Bluetooth to two devices, which makes these pointless for me :-(And yes, I checked tonight and I'm at the latest firmware version. And my ratings below reflect that the product itself is good, but doesn't meet my needs.

Good but hard on ears with glasses
20 January 2019

I have been to a Bose shop in a mall in Minnesota and was amazed at how good Bose speakers sounded. I have been looking for a reason to purchase a set of headphones to take with me on my excursions overseas and flying more than 7 hours. I saw these being offered at reduced prices because of them being refurbished and approximately a hundred dollars off of the price. I jumped. I received them about a week later and was thrilled to open the box. I wear glasses and so was not happy when I first placed them on my head and the band was so tight, they made my ears hurt. I saw no way, I was going to be able to wear them for even one hour. So I wore them around the house to get the feeling of having them on for long periods of time. I saw no way, I was going to be able to wear them for even one hour. So I wore them around the house to get the feeling of having them on for long periods of time. I was not able to, or rather my ears, keep them on for more than an hour. Snug is okay, in other aspects of life, but not this. I listened to music at a low volume, and then raised the volume two clicks at a time, and each time was like only turning the volume on my car stereo about 3 cm. Not a lot of difference. I also thought that the volume buttons are placed in a bad place, right along in conjunction with the multi media one being right in the middle. Now I have medium sized hands and for me to be able to finger out which button I am pressing, is a little rough. I have a pair from another manufacturer that has the volume buttons in the ear piece which is nice. Not anything to fumble with. At low volume the music is clear, but almost to the point of not being able to hear the music if one is, say at a work out gym. I had to turn it up to approximately half way to basically get out the back ground noise, and be able to hear the music without side effects. I did not turn the volume all the way, to see or hear what it would sound like if I held the ear piece away from my ear. One should not have to do that. As far as the tone and quality of the sound coming out of the ear pieces, it was good quality as I was listening to 70's rock and roll. Now I was listening to music from my tablet, and I can adjust my preference as to what kind of music that I'm listening to, like rock, soft, instrumental, and classic. I did switch it around from one to another to hear what kind of difference it would make for my ears. Relatively small differences, but was able to discern a bit more tone quality from one to the other. So enough of that I will comment about the head band and be done. It's foam padding along the head band is good and not overly abundant, and will allow slippage from time to time, but good quality. Adjustment is easy and seems to stay in one place from one size to another.

Good on paper, less so in execution. . .

Pros: 1) Good sound (thought a little unbalanced, favoring low end above all else), compact. 2) Good, compact, sleek, nondescript look. 3) Generally comfortable for an hour or two of wear (though after that, the cartilage on your ears begins to hurt).Cons: 1) Bluetooth connectivity is unreliable. Very spotty - after powering the headphones on, they only reconnect with my iPhone 8 about 50% of the time, otherwise I have to jigger and toggle the Bluetooth switch on both the phone and headphones multiple times to reestablish connection. The headphones will also frequently connect ("connected to iPhone") but disconnect randomly a couple seconds later ("iPhone lost"), forcing the on-off-on toggle process. I have frequent audio channel cutout because the jack won't stay in the jack plug securely. I have to unplug the jack and re-plug frequently to get consistent stereo audio.

I work at a brewery and needed some comfertable headphones for listening to audiobooks or music while working on the production line. I have the Bose QC20 ear plugs as well, but those would be uncomfertable to use 10-12 hours straight, So I went for theese, not too big, not too small and very comfertable on your ears over long periodes of time. I did look for an option with the quiet comfort system but I think the QC35 is a tad to big for my liking so I chose to sacrifice on that aspect, and I do not regret it. Turns out I do not relly need that level of noise canceling, besides it's a good thing for me to actually hear my coworkers asking for my attention. Now the headphones themselfes feel great, both in my hands and on my ears. They are light waigth and easy on the ears so there is no problem wearing them for an entire work day. Also they have a good fit so they dont fall of while I'm running or turning abruptly. The sound quality is perfect for what I as a "normal" person am able to pick up of different tones and it's really enjoyble to turn the volume up and ust go with the music. However there is an annoying problem with the leaking of sound in theese headphones. If I am to turn the volume up in a noisy subway cart to enjoy my music, the pasangers next to me will have no choice but to also enjoy my music. This fact has me tending to turn the volume down a little when using public transportation and it detracts a little from the otherwise almost perfect experience I have with the headphones. They are very easy to operate, you just turn them on by flicking the powerbutton upwards. If you want to pair them with a devise to flick the power button up two notches and it's ready to pair. If you want to pair them to several devices at the same time you can do that and switch between them by pushing on the power button. By pushing and holding the power button it pauses any music and open a siri dialouge on my iPhone so it's easy to make phonecalls without having to unlock my phone and so on. The volume buttons are located very naturally and are easy to find and use.The only other issue I have found with theese headphones appart from the sound leaking thing is that sometimes the headphones disconects from my phone or my laptop while being used. This sometimes happens when I leave home and walk outside my wifi range all though I'm not sure that is the reason. All in all I must say I am very happy with my purchase, and I would definately recomend the Bose on-ear wireless headphones to others. Just make sure you do not need the Quiet Comfort option and that you are aware that they do leak sound to your surrundings before you do.
