Traditionally i am all about Yorkville, RCF and QSC products but my goodness, The bass from the bose is impressive compared to my other subs. I understand that there are other brands that for djs may be more suitable but for the weight, sound and portability it is well worth it.I like being different and that is why i chose BOSE. ??

The Sub2 really will amaze the even the critical sound guys out there. Smooth crisp powerful bass that doesn’t fall off in even a large venue. love the ability to transport these in the back sheet of my car. After two weeks of pushing these Sub2 speakers to there max. They really have broke in nice. Never thought I could get the sound I’m getting with these in my Arsenal. Use them with the S1 speakers and wow the balance is incredible.Thanks again

This sub is awesome! I own two other subs and I thought they were the truth until I got this. I love the fact that this sub has a slim design which can fit in to any car but it has a lot of bass, I did an outside concert and at about 70 percent this Bose was literally shaking the stage. Then I walk away and you still can here and feel the bass. Subs usually losses there feel once they gets outside but not this one. I had it for about a month and Worth every penny.

Note the F2 sub produces low frequencies down to 38 hz and Sound pressure or Spl and max loudness of 132 dbThe S1 Sub produces low frequencies down to 37 Hz and max SPL of 129 db peak performance.So I would recommend the F2 if you are a band playing both in and outdoors as the additional SPL will prove more favorable over the very tight differences in low frequencies which are practically on par.The additional 3db of sound would be more important for bands and multipurpose usage.I own the F1 mains and this series does not disappoint
This subwoofer is very loud for its size. It's light, comes with a cover, and is a good value at $1300 compared to the competition. It has simple controls and great construction. It doesn't dig as deep as a $2000 SVS home theater subwoofer, but it's as loud and portable at a third the weight.I'm a Best Buy employee.
Needed a portable self powered sub and the Bose Sub2 is working out really well. I play drums with a pool of musicians who play all varieties of music with 3 to 9 instrumental and vocalists. The Sub2 has provided the bottom that our regular sound system just didn't have. From honky tonk a to large ballrooms so far the Sub2 is really good!
Small footprint with a lot of low end bass. I recommend this sibwoofer to anyone wanting rich deep clear bass!
I have never ever had a bass player and drummer say wow to much bass turn it down a little. In 35years of professional playing I have never had such a light small speaker put out so much bass. I use it with my S1pro for solo shows every week and with my band we use L1 mod2 with b2 sub and sub2. That was the only thing about the l1 system it was plenty loud and great but playing outdoor shows all the time the bass was good for small to medium venues but the big ones neede more bass. This thing does it and some. It is easy to use with any system. The controls are easy and great. Just wow
