Boss Hugo Man Eau De Toilette 75 ml

One of my favorites used to be Hugo Boss EDT. I’ll never forget smelling it the first time. “That’s what a man is supposed to smell like.” I was able to score this for a low price, and all nostalgia aside, something is different. Sure I can smell the Granny Smith apples, the marine like hints, and the masculine shower gel. Unfortunately that’s about it, despite the lavender trying. This is a weak choice, as there’s no projection or sillage. In many ways it reminds me of Polo Black, in which the bottle is a tuxedo, but underneath it’s a off color leisure suit. I used to get a athletic, fresh vibe, now it’s the green apple for at most a few hours, and there’s the party. A shame as the bottle and atomizer are top notch. I can’t recommend this one. This is a clean, fresh scent for men that is ideal as an every day, workinghours cologne.I was expecting this fragrance to tilt more toward the dark, musky side when I ordered it, but I was pleased to find that its quite the opposite of that. This scent light, clean and Id say almost energetic. It has clean soap smell with a hint of citrus. I sort of feel like its close to a scent that would be used at a spa while you get a restorative massage or something. If you give yourself 1 or 2 sprays, the smell doesnt overwhelm either. I asked 5 female friends to give me their opinions of it and they all strongly approved and liked it in the 4 or 5 star range.As sort of a nice bonus, the bottle is pretty cool.
