I got this for the legs (my floor-cleaning robot can get under it). It's more cheaply made than the Simple-human can that it's replacing, and given the cost, that's not really okay. I hate that there's no handle on at least one of the bins—I swapped it out for the bin from my older Simple-Human can. The simple human H bags are just a tad too large for it, but they're way sturdier than the ones that come with it. The legs are plastic, just pressed into place, and wobble slightly.

Brabantia Bo Recycling Touch Bin Matt Steel 2 x 30Ltr

This is a great little bin and by removing a shelf under the sink, it sits neatly on the inside of the cupboard door so nicely hidden away. It is a bit on the small side I was used to a bin twice the size but theres no space in my new flat. I also bought the Brabantia 1012L bin liners which fit perfectly. My only gripe is that the description says folding lid I dont know what their idea of a folding lid is but on my bin the lid is solid and doesnt fold. In fact theres nothing to open the lid, no pedal or anything, so freestanding or fitted Im afraid its open the lid by hand every time. Thats why Ive deducted a star the description is incorrect. Other colours would have been nice too but otherwise its perfect for its purpose.

Brilliant Briantia Bin

If it is possible to love a bin, you will love this one.It is sleek, compact - yet holds alot, easy to clean and is not an eye sore. What I really like is that when you open the lid, the two bins fit really well into their compartment so you don't end up with sloppy messes and rubbish down inside the main bin. There are two small ergonomic handles which allow the inner bin to be easily picked out for emptying. The bins are also very sturdy and well made. Absolutely worth the investment.

Feels well made

We've had this bin a few weeks now and it feels well made compared to others we have tried. It's an expensive bin but feel reassured by the 10 year warranty.The bins are easy to get in and out; the integrated handles on either side make it easy to manoeuvre; it's a great slim fit; despite initially thinking it would be a disadvantage, I actually find it quite handy that both bins are exposed by one lid as I often have both rubbish and recycling in my hands.I like the colour, and it's accurate to the picture advertised.I ordered online and the bin was well packaged on arrival to prevent damage, and delivery was swift.So far, so good!

Good looking, practical but flawed

A good looking bin with 2 X 30 L bins. Easy to use and easy on the eye.However, the base of the inner bins has locator tabs, these are very thin plastic and have cracked after two weeks of ownership. The cracks are on the recycling side which has very light use. This may be a one off, who knows.John Lewis immediately accepted that is needed to be replaced at no cost to myself and I cannot fault them for that

Now, I wasn't expecting that...

This Brabantia bin is the BOMB! It fits snugly into the corner of my pantry, has a separate bin inside, the bin lining is completely hidden, as in, there is no messy looking bag hanging over the side. The side handles on the outside make it easy to move when vacuuming behind the bin and washing the floor. Super light and super stylish. The touch lid system is fantastic and there is no way a pesky fly can get inside and do it's disgusting thing! I thought my husband would divorce me when he found out how much I had spent on a bin, but he is totally sold on it. He told me he LOVES this bin and it is worth every penny and it is the BEST THING I have ever bought for the kitchen! Now, I wasn't expecting that! Totally recommend this bin.

Review of Brabantia Matt Black Bo Hi 60L Touch Bin

This is mother of all bins , good quality , great design, looks beautiful doesn’t look like a bin . My kids were treasure chest 😁. Honestly It ticks all the boxes. Brabantia have always been excellent in providing good quality goods. I would also want to see in future bins that have a component for air fresheners and that’s the icing on the cake.

Expensive - Yes, very. Worth it? Actually yes. A bin is something you use every day, several times. It is something in my kitchen space which is open plan to dining area and scullery. So it is something one sees very often and literally touches multiple times a day. An untidy, smelly bin and heap of recycling is not a great experience. This works beautifully and has enough capacity to deal with our waste and recycling for a week. It looks good and is high quality, so should last. The soft touch lid release mechanism is very convenient. Highly recommended.

The perfect waste disposal bin!

We purchased the Brabantia Dual Compartment Bin awhile back. We weren’t sure it would be worth the price tag, but we LOVE it! Easy open/close, two bins inside - trash & recycling, but the best part is the height. We cook a lot and can just sweep things off our counter and into the bin so easily! The black matte is easy to clean and the bin is stylish - doesn’t look like a nasty trash bin - instead looks like a stylish piece of furniture in the kitchen! We recently purchased a second home and without hesitation, my husband and I agreed we needed another one of these for our new home - it was our first purchase! You can’t go wrong with this! If you live in a high rise, the slender bags are perfectly sized for the trash shoot too!

Unobtrusive but stylish kitchen bin

I purchased this kitchen recycling bin with apprehension. It was expensive. However, the measurements matched the space available, and I have to say it fits seamlessly with my modern, sleek black and white kitchen. It is a perfect size (means I don't have to constantly empty it) and looks very stylish. The 'touch open' lid is excellent. Very good quality and actually worth the money - especially with a 10 year guarantee. I would highly recommend this.
