I bought this, to replace my existing one. That had a hole in the foil head, after years of usage. It looks great and came in shiny chrome, with the additional cutting head. Well worth the money, for the head and cutter. Very easy to fit both in seconds.

I owns Braun shaver over 20 years. Never thought of any part can be replaced. Made some enquiries with Braun. Found the compatible replacement foil and cutter. What a difference it made. New design is better than original design. Much smoother shave. Very pleased with the investment. Awesome job for Braun to provide long term product support.

I have used genuine and non-genuine shaver head and cutter. Sad to say that the non-genuine just doesn't cut it. All though the price is higher than what it should be the genuine makes shaving a non painful event compaired to the other.s

It was not better than expected, it's exactly what I expected. It's a perfectly good replacement shaver foil and cutter, but it's ridiculously overpriced. However there is no alternative other than buying a new shaver. Good though that these parts are still available. My shaver is 35 years old, and these parts make it work like new.
The product works well with my Braun series 32 electric shaver. It was one of the less-expensive ones that were labelled as genuine Braun product. It cuts well and fits the shaver perfectly, so I'm happy to recommend it.
Just the name Braun tells you that it will be a quality product. However, the information on the pack suggests replacing the shaver head/foil after 18 months, but in my experience it only lasts about 12 months. After about 3 months I find I have to press harder to my face to achieve a close shave. Then after about 6 months, it progressively gets harder to achieve a close shave, and after 12 months, well I have to replace it.
Good product. I had been using my old set for many many years.... imagined it was blunt and time for change. Expecting big difference in shaving with new ones. But it was almost identical to the old ones. Guess the old ones are still very good.
The product didn't match my Series 3 shaver. I need to go to a store and replace it for the correct one. Unfortunately it was not easy to tell what the item was on the website making it easy to make a mistake.
These foils and cutters are getting scarce for the 5000 series range so if your razor is working buy a few. However, those in Boots and "shaver parts" all appear to have Arabic writing on the back but theses have Chinese/Korean on the back so personally I can't tell if genuine or not but the work as the original do when new but how long they will last is anyone's guess.
This is a very poorly made Chinese replica of the original blade. It is not sharp, it pulls hair instead of cutting them. My original 1-year old head shaves much better than this one. Do not buy this one, do not waste your money like I did.
