The Braun electric razors are the best (for me) that I've found and I've been using their products for years. Approximately every 18 months the razor head and foil need to be replaced. I was due and found them on eBay. It arrived in good time, sooner than estimated. It cuts much more sharply than the old one. My only complaint is it must not have been securely put together because about the second day of using it, when I was finished shaving and tapping it on the inside of the sink to clean out the hair, it came apart and I had a tough time putting it back together. However, I did finally manage to get it to go back together and securely snap into place. Hopefully, it won't come apart again.

Item makes the razor feel brand new again. I get a close shave with no nicks or cuts. Made the mistake of ordering an off brand (from Hong Kong) for my previous saver head replacement. Never again. That item arrived in pieces so I had to reassemble. After one month of use the screen had holes in it. Plus it took a long time to arrive. It was not worth the money I saved. The Braun shaver head is genuine Braun quality and the Target price is very reasonable.

I bought a replacement head and had to return it. It's amazing that something that looks the same, fits the same could be so very different! The knock-off brand from China no only did not work, it carries a Prop-65 warning for cancer and reproductive harm! If you don't care about the warning, you should know that the cutter block didn't even work as well as the 5-year-old one I was replacing. Do yourself a favor and get the OEM Braun replacement head. You'll be glad you did! It's truly amazing how well it works. The shave is so close and smooth it's like I have a whole new razor!

This purchase was definitely worthwhile as I can clearly feel the improvement over my old foil. I bought a couple of cheap ones through an online retailer, but they both fell apart. I didn't even get one shave from the second cheap foil. I won't buy anything but genuine Braun in the future, and at about 18 months of use.
In years gone by I have tried the cheap versions of the replacement foil cartridge for my Braun Series 3 shaver and they really are a waste of money. They are not bad for a week or so and then you find you are rubbing the shaver over your face repeatedly without really getting a close shave. The real Braun version is just brilliant. You can hear it clicking as it clips off the bristles and the result is a shave just as close and smooth as a quality safety razor but better because it lasts that way for about two years. With a new Braun cartridge, you have a new shaver at a fraction of the cost. Just brilliant!
The price was good. But what I ordered and what I received seem to be different items. The picture on your website shows a Braun shaver head in the original packaging. What I received was a tiny ,crushed, flimsy cardboard box with some unintelligible numbers and letters on it. Nothing about the manufacturer being made in Germany as the website picture depicted.I believe this shaver head is a cheap imitation and don't recommend it at all.The Walmart website is very deceiving for this particular item.
From the photo on the web page for this replacement head, it makes it appear that you are purchasing an actual Braun product. What I received was an aftermarket part which was inferior. Walmart attempted to place me in contact with RUIMY who apparently is the third party vender. I never heard from RUIMY. Walmart eventually gave me my money babk.
I have used Braun series 3 shavers for several years and have been very satisfied with its performance until the last one I bought about a year ago. It worked well, like others for a short time, maybe a couple of months and then it just didn't shave closely even if pressing harder. After enduring that for a while I bought a new head and was pleased to find it cutting properly but that has only lasted only 2 to 3 months and now it is giving a poor shave again. I have appreciated the performance of the earlier shavers but feel I must shart looking for a better brand.
This replacement restored my Braun shaver to its original close-shave capability. Be sure to get a replacement head that is manufactured in Germany by or for Braun. Off-brand replacements are usually made in other countries and may not deliver equally results.
This German made replacement is excellent quality and was competitively priced. I previously purchased a cheaper, made in China, version which was inferior quality and nowhere near as smooth shaving. I won't do that again and will stick with one of these which is so much better. I only gave it 4 stars because they are quite expensive compared to the price of the razor, although this is no different to other suppliers.
