Very disappointed with this iron. Found my old Philips one works much better.Iron is quite lightweight but you have to keep going over the garment several times to iron out creases especially with cotton and linen so it can add more a lot more time. Also don't like the fact that you only get steam coming out of the iron when you press a button (and it shoots out everywhere when you do) instead of constant steam.
The iron glides really well and has a cool down feature for when it gets left on. This can be a bit annoying if you're doing sewing like me and back and forth a lot. But I suppose it's good for safety reasons. The iron is also a little heavier than my last one so make sure this is for you!! I find it generally a good product, given these things.
The product is great but thats as far as it goes. Myer sent me the wrong invoice, it was for a totally different iron. I spoke to customer service and explained what the problem was only to be told there was nothing they could do about it. They said they could not edit the invoice in any way and just sent me another copy of the invoice with the wrong product on it. The invoice is my warranty and proof of purchase if anything goes wrong with the iron I cant make a claim! Im very disappointed and wont purchase anything else from Myer!
The range of Braun products at Myer is great. The Bruan brand never disappoints, and this iron is so light, with a slippery glide that ironing is done with easy. The steam functions are many so the choice of setting for different fabrics makes it easy to adjust. Highly recommend this iron.
Great, easy to use light weight iron. Only reason it didnt get 5stars is the water opening is a tiny bit tricky if you have arthritis - so all round a quality product with a lovely cord & soleplate.
I bought this to replace an old Philips Azure. I cannot believe, for the price, how good this little iron is. It's lightweight, heats up quickly, has enough settings to iron different fabrics and is very zippy. I wish I'd bought this instead of my old, frustratingly clunky Azure which constantly dripped water when I ironed. If you want something that just does the job and without too much fuss, this is the iron for you.
Pros: It gets through ironing quickly and is lightCons: It’s smaller than I expected but after using it a few times my personal preference is for a heavier iron .
