I bought this product over the Hurom HZ and The Kuvingz EVO due to features and price point. I felt Breville would give me a quality product and I could trust that even though it was less expensive it would do everything these other machines do and better but it did not live up to my expectations. Because overall the Big Squeeze isn't as bad as compared to overall issue of other juicers I have had.

Bought this a few months ago. It's fantastic at juicing. Quite easy to prepare fruit and veggies and can create over a litre in as little as a few minutes. Breezes through hard veggies such as carrots, celery, apples, etc. There are only three downsides in my opinion. The first one is that the large item food shoot is a bit cumbersome, so I prefer to just send everything through the small hole chopped up smaller. Perhaps they could make this opening larger. The second downside becomes more noticeable after heavy use and that is that it is not as easy to clean as claimed. There are a couple of spots that no cleaning tools will reach, so moisture and bits of food can become trapped. I've really had to adapt how I use it and clean it to keep it clean. As the previous review mentioned, the drum lid breaks in the locking bracket after several months of work. I am in my third drum lid already. The first one broke after 11 months of daily use and the second one 9 months after I got it. For the first one I got it as a courtesy replacement from Breville but for the second one I got charged $60, which makes me think that I need to start looking for another juicer in the medium term if this is going to be a recurring issue, as it seems this is a design flaw in which the stress over the locking mechanism accumulates over time and it eventually breaks. Once this happens, the juicer is worthless as there is no way to keep it working without the locking mechanism staying in place.The cleaning is pretty annoying as well. I have only made one batch of juice from this juicer. I just received it yesterday, but I was so impressed I am giving this 5 stars just because I feel like it. I used to have a centrifuge juicer so this was a big step for me. I had not idea what a masticating juicer would do, but once you use it I cannot see going back to centrifuge. Reviews for clean up were mixed, but I had no problem at all. I ran a batch of warm water through it after juicing and it did half the job for me. The rest took about 5 minutes, which is about how long it took to clean my old one. There were a couple crevices that were a little tricky to get some of the pulp out, but the final results outweights that little inconvenience. This juicer is a game changer! The large feeding chute makes it easy to juice all kinds of fruits and veggies while the efficient juice extraction ensures maximum yield. I got this juicer a few years ago (2019) I have enjoyed using it, it is easy to assemble and makes great juice. You do have to pre-cut your ingredient far more then I expected. Although This juicer has a large feed shoot, however it does get jammed up when juicing recipes with celery, or ginger which can be very frustrating. I also have cracks appearing on the lid as many have mentioned below. I hope that Breville addresses this issues. Also, this slow juicer looks identical to some Kuvings models and wonder who is making this juicer. Same screen and juice and pulp containers, same auger etc. I hope Breville will replace the lid.

Been using this juicer now for 2 weeks. I have always used a slow juicer. I like the design, easier cleaning and big chute unfortunately this juicer wastes to much juice and leaves a lot of pulp in your juice. I have to further strain the juice to remove the excessive pulp. Also a lot of the fruit/veggies get stuck in the wider chute which the pusher can't reach. I think the juicing screw needs more grooves to extract the juice from fruit/veg better. It juicers faster than my other slow juicers but I find I am using more fruit/veg to make the same amount of juice. This juicer is too fast and the juicing screw needs to be re designed to better masticating. Too much wastage, pulp and bits left in the juice. Sorry
I bought this to replace my 20 yr old Juice Fountain.The pulp chute got blocked with celery pulp, and is extremely hard to wash and clean.The juicing screw got clogged with apple pulp, which is not efficient at all, most of the apple went in the bin.The only thing the Big Squeeze has over the Juice Fountain is the pulp is dryer.The Big Squeeze is hard to assemble, and it's a nightmare to wash and dry,What would take no more than 15 minutes from start to finish with the Juice Fountain took almost an hour with the Big Squeeze.Save your money people
