Breville LAH300WHT The Easy Mist Humidifier

Buttons aren't easy to operate, takes a lot of presses before they respond. The product didn't help at all, just left water marks everywhere. The led lights are too bright, lit the whole room up like we had our lights on. I used the item once, paid $180 for it & would not recommend it!

Anything but easy

We bought this humidifier less than 12 months ago to help our newborn sleep better when congested. Can agree with other reviewers that the lights are bright, touch screen controls are a bit temperamental and the mist is overpowering in anything smaller than your average master bedroom. Worked fine for a few months, however the warm mist function is (now) very noisey, we’ve had water leaks causing damage to furniture, and now it won’t even turn on. Will be returning for a full refund as we need something reliable to help our family get a good nights sleep.

Easy Mist Humidifier

The pros - great size water container. The cons - control panel very frustrating, has to be touched many multiple times until it actually starts, same goes for increasing the mist. When on heated water mode the mist is way to heavy, more like a steam, covering surfaces with water residue. I have found my Easy Mist after 3 months ownership to be anything but easy due to the touch screen panel - maybe mine is faulty. I do not recommend this humidifier and will be purchasing a more user friendly model with better functionality.

Easy to Use Humidifier

This product has provided comfort to the whole family, including our pets in the house. My kitten has been fighting a cold for quite sometime and finally we took the leap to get a humidifier, as we had read these were helpful to breathing and allowed for a restful sleep. The cat is mesmerised by the cloud of air that diffuses into the air and. spends a lot of time in the living room where the humidifier is kept. After a short amount of time, his breathing sounds much clearer and he has started to smell his food a lot easier. There isn't much need for my old diffuser anymore. The humidifier is easy to use, however the filling of the tank could be slightly more convenient. I love that the humidifier allows for both warm and cool air. As we are now heading into Winter, the warm mist is definitely a great addition. Although it doesn't heat the house, the mist is gentle for the family and the cat. I would recommend placing the product on a bench or side table, as carpet tends to dampen when placed on the floor. Overall, it is a great product I would recommend.

Life changer

I bought this machine a few weeks ago and it has improved mine and the babies congested noses. The controls are like a touch screen very sensitive but work fine, lights are bright but I put mine on the floor I fill up the tank once and it will run all day and night. I like it so much I'm considering buying a second so I don't need to move it every night for bed.The negative reviews had me sceptical so I was pleasantly surprised and happy with the purchase.

Long run time

Amazing product, I purchased 3 one for each kids rooms. Has a cute little function that you can add essential oils to fragrance the room. The humidifier works well, I bought it as my heater/aircon makes the air really dry. The huge tank is a bonus it runs all night without a refill. Highly recommend.

Lousy Product

I bought one of these for my open plan house, it produces so much fog if left on overnight it would leave a damp fog throughout the house, and the aromatherapy opion did nothing at all. It often overflows if left standing unused overnight and even on a towel it still managed to flood my lounge room floor which has ruined my floating floorboards. Would not recommend this product if it were the only one available. I have a $2 wish unit that works better and doesn't leave the whole house damp or flood my floors....

No matter what, I end up with a huge wet patch on the floor.

I bought it last year because I liked the look of the unit and the large tank size. There are however a couple of problems with the machine. Issue one is that the low, medium and high button is incredibly confusing. It is a symbol of a tree that changes colour but doesn't clearly show which setting is which. The biggest problem however is that the mist pours out of the machine at such a high rate that it always ends up wetting the floor and whatever furniture it's sitting on or next to. It's incredibly frustrating because I bought the machine hoping to use it for many years but every time I have used it there has been a huge wet patch left behind. Not what I was told it was. I asked for a DE-humidifier to take moisture out of the air. I was told this was what I needed, that it would effectively do what I wanted. Totally not true. Total waste of time and money that just sits there unused. If Id had the health and energy I would have taken it back and complained. Sadly for me I couldnt.

Who designed this?

I have been using this humidifier for 6 months. This thing is powerful! In a normal small bedroom with the door closed everything ends up getting wet on the low setting. It's not the hardest humidifier to clean but, at this price I wish that was taken into consideration. The lights are very bright and there is no option to turn them off. Also, the low, medium, high setting button is confusing at first. The most annoying feature is the fact that it beeps when it runs out of water. Since I only use this at night that means my husband and I wake up from the sound.
