Love my knock box. Solid as can be. Great if you have limited counter space. I was so pleased that I bought another for a friend. This is one of those items (along with a dosing funnel) that seem like a necessity for a home barista area.

Great knock box for its size! We live on the road full time and don't have a lot of room in our Airstream, so size was one of the biggest factors when choosing a knock box. The Breville fits nicely on the drip tray of our machine when not in use. It cleans up easily, and looks great on our counter. The only downside is around its size. Since the sides of the box aren't much higher than the bar, it's easy to get some splashes outside of the box if you're not careful.

Great knock box that’s the perfect size for our small kitchen. I like the All Black colour which hides the coffee marks. Nice and sturdy. Was a great price on sale.
When I bought my first espresso machine I scoffed at the idea of buying one of these, laughing at how unnecessary I thought they were and at all the suckers who had actually bought one.Then I realized how tough it is to get the puck out of the porta-filter. Shortly after owning my espresso machine, I got off my high horse and I came back here and ordered one. It helps keep my counter clean and I'm no longer banging this over the trash can while trying not to actually touch the garbage can with it.Only complaint is that it's a little too small, if it was 1 or 2 inches deeper, it'd have been perfect, but I ordered the mini, so that's on me, still works great if counter space is limited
Wow was I thrilled by the quality and utility of this unit when delivered. Great weight to it, and a nice sized knock bar. It easily holds six pucks, maybe more, but I dump and clean it before that point. Higher in the back than the front, keeps reasonable splats issues at bay. Good gripper tread surface on the bottom to protect counter surface.I was trying to avoid a knock box that overwhelmed my espresso station in my kitchen. We have a Rancillo Silvia machine, a Breville Smart Grinder, and this knock box. Looks quite smart and tidy. Smart looks and good function.
This knock box is the perfect accessory. Not too big, very sturdy, pucks knock right out of the 58mm Portafilter with ease. Easy cleanup. Matches my Dual Boiler and Smart Grinder Pro.
Fits my cramped space and works well.*replaced a Modern brand knock box. It's knock bar extended beyond the rubber sleeve. I had to be careful to not hit my portafilter against the metal.*The breville mini has a low back splash. So, I make slow movements to not sling espresso residue against my wall. After I get the portafilter to the knock box, I have no issues. The product fits my needs.
This one certainly is mini. The other option was too BIG and I just could not give up that much counter space. Of the two sizes, I prefer having more counter space so the mini works. I do with Breville made one that is between the two sizes. Honestly for esthetics, this mini looks odd next to my beautiful big machine. Lucky for me it is so mini it hides in near the back. Again, wish this mini was taller.
We like the convenience of this knock box. Our previous one the had the problem of the rod coming unstuck and coffee going everywhere . This one seems much more stable as the rod is fixed and does not move.
