Breville The Light and Fluffy Omelette Maker

Years ago brought Joie stove top omelette flip-pan. Did not take long for non-stick to deteriorate and handle to break. Brought this electric appliance and have used it about 6 times. Great appliance! Warm it up, add the mix, set the cooking time and walk away. Makes great omelettes every time. No mess, easy to remove omelettes and clean. Would definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this omelette maker a few months ago and have made dozens of omelettes - all kinds including cheese/ham/onion. Every one has been perfect. I just lightly spray the surface with oil before use and have never had a problem with sticking or removing the omelette. Easy clean with a paper towel. I use for each omelette 2 large beaten eggs with a tbsp of water, grated cheese/ham/or onion, salt & pepper. Set timer for 6 minutes and leave for a further half a minute when timer finishes. You will get a really nice fluffy omelette. I have owned a few omelette makers all had problems after a few uses. This Breville is so well made, and in my view, fool proof.

I bought my new Light and Fluffy Omelette Maker a couple of weeks ago. Have just used it for the first time. I would have liked the recipe collection to include basic recipes for sweet and savoury omelettes designed especially for the appliance. I made up a basic mix of my own, adding two broken up tasty cheese slices for extra flavour. I loved the easy to understand digital display and the countdown timer. I set the time for 10 minutes; longer than recommended but just how I like them. The results were excellent...delicious flavour and aroma. I’m so pleased with this purchase. Can’t wait to cook more omelettes. Highly recommended.
