I have had this product for approximately 10 years. I have used the rice function weekly, slow cooker/sauté function every other week maybe and the risotto function once :) It has performed almost flawlessly. It is super easy to clean up. I can stow it under the counter with 1 hand. It is bay far the most useful appliance I have after the toaster. The best thing about it is being able to sauté to brown, then start slow cooking without having to use multiple pans. I have replaced the inner pot once in those 10 years; love that parts are available!

I love my multichef. I use it all the time. Everything from pasta sauce to slow cooked roasts to stifle Fry's and risottos. The saute function makes it so easy to brown onions and meat before adding other ingredients to slow cook or risotto. I even make soups in it. I went 2 months without a kitchen due to rennovations and the multichef meant not having to eat take away every night. It doesn't last forever, I got my first one 7 years ago and am on my third now, but it just means now I have more insert pots so I can make multiple thing eg curry and rice. My whole family now have one too because they have seen how much I use it and how easy it makes things. Pot is aluminium, so very light and I put it through the dishwasher after every use. Just make sure it's dried properly before putting back in the base, water can drip down. Into the heating element (that's how we lost the first one). I can't rate this appliance high enough. I would give it 10 out of 5 stars!

Very happy with my rice/slow cooker with braiser. Great size - as a slow cooker, I usually cook for one but I prep a couple of days in advance, I get 4 - 5 meals out of it each time. Before I bought it I read a few reviews which claimed it was only big enough to cook for 1 - I’m glade I ignored that because it’s not true, a family of 4 would have left overs!! When it comes to using it solely as a rice cooker, you could cook enough for a party of 12. It’s very efficient, doesn’t take up a lot of counter space, and looks great as a kitchen feature - even when it’s doing nothing;) I REALLY LOVE BREVILLE!! I buy Breville whenever possible - much better than any competitor I have tried. I highly recommend this kitchen companion!!
