My vintage sunbeam mixer was finally put to rest after 25 years and I desperately needed a new mixer in time to make my late grandmother's famous Koulouria(Greek biscuits) recipe for Greek Orthodox Easter.The scraper mixer component made the fluffiest egg whites, the peachiest egg yolks and the best whipped butter I have ever seen! I was told by all my family and friends that these were the best koulouria (greek biscuits) I have ever made. Very very happy with this product and highly recommended :)

I purchased my mixer 30 days ago previously brought cheaper mixer from kmart which i returned and got full refund. My old mix master died after a full life of baking beautiful cakes. I am very disappointed with my new mixer I am finding mixing butter and sugar not good having to stop mixer and move mixture manually. Beating cream cheese having same problem.

Fantastic workhorse, kneaded dough for 20 minutes without breaking a sweat and has been inspiring me to bake more since I've bought it. I'm not sure if this is meant to happen but whenever I use the scraper/beater attachment, the head of the stand mixer tends to move a little but it doesn't move at all when using the beater or dough attachment. Besides that minor detail, I couldn't have asked for more.

I have always used hand mixers but this product is such a great addition to my kitchen! I love that I can put it on while I prepare other things. It really does scrape the bowl and combines all the ingredients really well. I love the glass bowl and the stainless steel fits in perfectly with my kitchen.
I purchased this for a Christmas present for my son & daughter in law.The 5 year warranty was enticing along with the solid make of the mixer. The price was reasonable compared to the higher end stand mixers. They seem to be happy with it.
I brought my mixer a month ago and have used it twice.It does the job ok although it's rather heavy to lift the top part you need to push the button which is quite a strain especially if you have arthritis on your hands.A splash guard would have given a higher rating
I've had this machine for 4 years and have used it most days since I bought it. The machine has never skipped a beat and still works as well as when I bought it. I have been through a few plastic scraper paddle attachments, both times they broke when mixing cookie dough. I have since purchased the stainless steel paddle attachment, which works well. Highly recommended this machine
The shopping experience with betta home living was excellent and 5 star but the mixer itself, not so much. The mixer doesnt stop running when the head/motor is lifted and regardless of whether the bowl is placed in position or not the motor will still run in any position. Considering the placement of the dial and how easily it glides up and down, it can be knocked by accident while it is lifted and all the ingredients on the beater flies around the house, from the ceiling to the floor. We contacted the Breville/Sage about the issue, they suggested to put the dial to zero before tilting the head up! and on the re read of the safety instructions they suggested to unplug it every time you lift the head. So yes the scraper beater scrapes the sides and the bottom of the bowl but pushes up above the reach of the beater. In addition it does not have any heavy base or suction caps on the bottom, so for any batter other than egg whites and cream you need to hold it down or it will walk all over the counter.
Very solid and stable machine. The scraper works well, scrapes the sides and bottom of the bowl. I like how the mixer can be just left alone to do its job while I can work on something else. Mixes bread dough well. It is easy to use and easy to clean. Although I may prefer to have a stainless steel bowl instead of the glass bowl but this one is just so solid. My children uses it for baking and bread making. It's a great product to have.
Good solid mixer and does a good job. The bowl is pretty heavy so I understand why it has a handle because you would have trouble picking it up from the mixer or even washing without it. I also like the handle at the front of the mixer unit. It is helpful pulling up the head. Sounds solid and well built when running so I am Happy enough with this one.
