Brita Hub Instant Powerful Countertop Water Filtration System

I drink a lot of water every day and this is the best water I have ever tasted! This machine came at the perfect time for me! My water dispenser on my fridge recently broke and my tap water has a strong chlorine taste therefore I wasn’t drinking as much water as I like to. I hooked this up as soon as I got it, tried it and fell in love! This product is going to save me so much money on bottled water this summer and it takes up very little counter space which is a huge plus for me. The filter only needs to be replaced every 6 months and is super easy to do! My nephew loves to come over and drink water now because he loves using the machine! I def will keep this and use it till it tears up...lol

The Brita Hub reduces 70+ contaminants, filters 120 gallons of water, last 6 months per filter (so you’re only purchasing 2 filters PER YEAR!) AND It replaces 1,800 plastic water bottles per year 😮 I love how cute it looks on my countertop and how quickly the water dispenses. The choice of manually dispensing your own chosen amount and 12oz or 20oz dispensing is very convenient, just place your cup and go back to what you were doing. When you get back, the perfect amount is already in your cup. No need to stand there and wait! Only downsides for me, is that it doesn’t hold a lot of water, it’s a little noisy and when dispensing, it splashes. The good definitively outweighs the bad for me though and I’m already using this thing daily !

I have bought bottled water for years. I don’t typically drink tap water due to the taste. It is fine for cooking, but just isn’t great to drink. That being said, I had a Brita pitcher yeeeeears ago that I used for quite some time, but I wasn’t really big on cold water and it just got annoying to use. This water filter is actually really great. I was a bit skeptical at first but I love it. The water tastes great and since getting it, I drink considerably more water a day than I was drinking previously. My 9 year old son likes it as well and regularly helps himself to water now throughout the day which is great for a kiddo who doesn’t like water! Some people may be disappointed that it only dispenses room temperature water, but I don’t like drinking cold water so ... MoreI have bought bottled water for years. I was so excited for this filtration device I’m a water fiend as is my family. But one thing is we like our water COLD I thought this big fancy machine would be able to make the water cold. I’m pretty disappointed about that fact. Aside from that it’s rather big and me personally I don’t like to keep things on my countertop. I do like the pre-measured buttons for suspending or that it can fit into water bottles well. I can appreciate how much water it holds! Even after filling up the tank it has a whole half at least in the reserve. The water tastes so clean! I really enjoy the taste. I can see how some people would like this but for my needs and the habits of my family this ain’t my favorite.

Although we typically drink unfiltered tap water in our home, I have enjoyed using the Brita Hub. The Hub is simple to set up and install, and I like how sleek it looks. I also like how you can push buttons for specific amounts of water or you can push the middle button to dispense as much or as little water as you want. The water tastes good and it is simple to use. The main cons for the Hub are its size (it takes up a decent amount of counter space) and the noise. It is fairly loud while it is dispensing. Additionally, it does not cool the water. I prefer room temperature water, but it's something to consider if you prefer cold water.

Overpriced at Best

While I appreciate the ability to put this on my counter and have it clean even microplastics, it has a lot of downsides a $180 product shouldn't have.- You can't have this in bedrooms. Why are brands obsessed with making bright lights you can't turn off? The front water light is enough to light up a small bedroom by itself.- There's no easy way to clear excess water from inside the filter or system. Mold is a huge problem in brita systems because people may leave water sitting there for days. It's a chore to ensure all water is drained from this system.- It's got the noise and vibration of a medium sized blender. Complete overkill.
