They fit true to size and may even run slightly wider (which I appreciate). The uppers are made of a nice, breathable mesh and provide good circulation. Overall, I really enjoy this shoe!Things I would change:Similar to what you see with a lot of runners, the tongue is a flimsy piece of material and tends to slip down the shoe if not properly laced up. I felt it tend to slide down the outer end of my feet.Heel of the sole of the shoe’s incline starts a bit too soon. What I mean is as my heel struck the ground, I felt it… I wasn’t a big fan of the response I was getting and found myself adjusting my gait to accommodate running off the pads of my feet rather than a full contact.

What a great running sneaker! I loved the colors and took these out for a 5 mile jog the day after I got them. They are so comfortable and fit true to size. I have bad ankles and these sneakers gave me great support which is what I am looking for in a running sneaker.I have used these for all of my runs since receiving them and have recommended them to all my friends!I plan on running a half marathon this year in the Charlotte NC area and can't wait to use them. I know that my ankles will be in good shape, and I will be looking super sharp when running :)I also love to use them just around town. They go with almost any outfit. Can't recommend these enough!

In a world where all manufacturers are using superfoams (peba), it is a life saver that Brooks continues to evolve traditional foams (Eva).Peba does not work for all of us, it is far too unstable for mez and I suspect for many pronators. The Eva based foam in this show is very light (for an Eva ñas foam), yet it provides sufficient cushioning that still allows for lots of ground feel. The show is light, fast and a great looker. It is billed as a short distance shoe, for speed work and up to 10k races. I ran a half marathon pb yesterday with no issues.(I've been running with brooks for years, so I am conditioned to their former foam)If you run in any brooks gts shoes, or if you need stability and want a light shoe, or if you miss the traditional racing flats, ... MoreIn a world where all manufacturers are using superfoams (peba), it is a life saver that Brooks continues to evolve traditional foams (Eva).Peba does not work for all of us, it is far too unstable for mez and I suspect for many pronators. The Eva based foam in this show is very light (for an Eva ñas foam), yet it provides sufficient cushioning that still allows for lots of ground feel. I recently got a pair of the Brooks Hyperion running shoes. I’ve never owned a pair of Brooks shoes before, even though I’ve been an experienced runner for over 15 years. After trying the Hyperion shoes one time, I don’t know how I ever went without a pair Brooks running shoes. They are, without a doubt, the best running shoes I have ever owned.Right out of the box, the shoes looked sharp. I love the white, blue, and orange color scheme. They just looked very nice. The fit is perfect! What I noticed on the inside is that it has an elastic press beneath the tongue so that it will always make the shoe snug on your foot without ever being too tight. It makes it great for avoiding blisters. Additionally, the mesh top keeps your feet as cool as they can be (very ... MoreI recently got a pair of the Brooks Hyperion running shoes. It makes it great for avoiding blisters. Additionally, the mesh top keeps your feet as cool as they can be (very important when running a m the summer heat). I also love that these shoes are so light weight. It’s like wearing a feather, and I literally feel like I can run faster with these shoes. As a matter of fact, I shaved off almost 45 seconds off my typical post-lifting 2.5 mile run the first day I used the Hyperion shoes.I hope to get many, many more miles out of the Hyperion shoes, and then I will be a Brooks customer for life
I’m a casual runner who logs 1-10 miles of HIIT sprinting to supplement my weightlifting routine. The styling of this shoe is nice and modern. I’m not the biggest fan of orange, but this looks great with the blue and grey.I was struck by how light the shoes were. I’m not a very avid runner, so I’ve never really invested in high-end running shoes before, and these are by far the lightest that I’ve ever owned.Sprinting in these were a pleasure. The tongue has a unique “U” shape to them that wraps around the ankle and helps lock the shoe into place. There was no uncomfortable rubbing anywhere on my ankle or foot. My feet still get a little sweaty, but nothing like when I wore my other trainers.Overall these are great running shoes. I can’t think of anything about them that I’d change.
The M Hyperion have a great look and feel. I found them to be very lightweight and felt well supported around the ankles and the soles were comfortable for both workouts and everyday wear. The material feels well made and breathable. I would prefer that the tongue had just a bit more padding, however, it doesn’t diminish the overall comfort and feel of the shoes. I wore them all day and they were comfortable from everything to walking around the block, running errands, or lounging around. My favorite part of the shoes was the design. The light gray, blue, and black look sharp with the orange laces complementing the look and adding pop. The soles have a blue gradient to white which brings the design together. I switched to these shoes from a pair of cheap (e.g. $40-$50) runners and I am incredibly satisfied. I run primarily to supplement lifting, so I keep it to 3-5 mile sessions. I thought that a lower quality/price pair would cut it for shorter runs but started developing some foot pain after a few weeks. After a couple of weeks in my Hyperions my feet feel great! The first thing I noticed was how light these shoes are - they manage to balance feeling both lightweight but also very solid. The upper in the shoe is breathable and thin - I wouldn't want to use them for any kind of hard cross-training, but it still feels plenty durable for standard street/track running. The pair I was switching from had a more rigid upper where the Brooks Hyperions hug your foot in a comfortable way.The cushioning on these shoes is terrific - the vast majority of my running is street running which can do a number on my feet, but I have had zero issues with this pair. I find myself keeping these on for hours after I finish my run which isn't my usual m.o. with running shoes. You kind of forget you're wearing them, which is a high compliment for any kind of shoe!I'm yet to find anything to complain about with these - will update my review as I get more miles on them!
I love this shoe. Anything Brooks makes is great. The shoe fit nice and snug using every eyelet. I have fairly wide feet and it wasn’t too narrow feeling. It’s got good depth as well, in case you ever added a custom insert.I really like the flare on the heel cup. It makes it so much easier to don, even leaving it tied. It might be the lightest shoe I have ever worn, no joke I can’t remember anything lighter!Great ML stability and support. Comfortable and cushioned insole, can wear all day throughout the hospital and no issues. Breathable mesh keeps ya cool as well.Only thing I might change: surprisingly it hasn’t bothered me yet, but the tongue is really thin with no padding. Just keep that in mind! Highly recommend though!!
I also have Hyperion Max and this shoe is just as incredible. The nitrogen foam is what makes the Hyperion series different. If you are not running in a nitrogen foam you are wasting your time. This shoe is incredibly light don’t be deceived, they are very cushioned. Feels like when my foot rolls inward the foam pushes right back out in the same direction acting like a stacked midfoot of arch support. As a heavy runner, I can feel this foam has bounce and is live and loaded. Add to this the great fit with the flat laces that feel like it’s impossible to over or under tighten, this is usually a problem for me, and these shoes are incredible. Only improvement to add, traction. Thanks again Brooks for the DNA Flash Foam!
I love this shoe. It is amazing and it is so light which makes it feel like I don’t even have a shoe on. The thin mesh at the top gives the breathable effect and actually keeps my feet cooler than other shoes. The cushion from the sole is amazing and makes you feel like you’re truly running on a cloud, the perfect amount of bounce. I tend to get blisters from new running shoes, but I did not get any from these. There is a lot of cushion in the back for my heel/achilles. The color is fantastic as well. I love how the grey goes with the blue, white, and orange and can go with any outfit! Overall, I love this shoe and I recommend you get it whether you’re using it for a normal everyday shoe or a running shoe, it is complete perfection and so comfortable!
